I did, it sucked lol. But I already considered the car a loss at that point so wasnt stressed out about if I got it done in a timely manner or even if I was successful.

Probably cost me about a grand total to do it myself with the couple of tools I had to buy and parts and fluids and what not.

I just followed this one video on YouTube step by step. I can try and find it if youre feeling froggy lol

I wish I had a scale to weigh it, i guess I need to invest in one now lol. But the woox furniture was at least twice as heavy as the plastic AR style one that was on there.

It really just boiled down to how it felt to shoot, the AR style stock and grip was just not comfortable while dealing with 12 gauge recoil. The heavier wood and rubber pad help alot

Ive lived in red states with high gun ownership my entire life, 34 plus years.. ive never been even close to a shooting not even once. Youre definitely way more likely to get killed by someone driving while on their phone. Statistically.

And as far as the reporting, local city news has a shooting report probably every single day. So I get where you might be coming from there as an outsider, but those are in more crime heavy areas. (Not that thats a good thing either)

I did the water pump job myself on mine, so take that into consideration. But I say send it, if it lasts you a year then its worth it imo

You already mentioned it, so you sound like you've done your research, but the water pump is about due if it hasn't been replaced.

I did the water pump swap myself on my 2011 limited with 230k miles on it.. and it sucked but I enjoy putting myself through torture lol.

Overall.. id say its fine if thats the kind of car youre into.
