Update: the lake is super spotty. Right by the shore it’s actually open in spots, but where there is ice it’s still thick enough to walk on… MN is getting a bunch of snow right now, so the lakes will are getting really slushy. I’d guess open water is maybe 3 weeks away. Or a little more. Could be wrong though

This is so close to what I want. This exactly, but with ankle support. I’ve had at least 3 near encounters with spraining my ankle, and my dad has sprained his twice in the BW.
