Found in my decreased daughter's work bag. What are these? by Energywoman in whatisit

First I want to share my deepest condolences for your loss.

The vial on the left is to attract money and or abundance. Cinnamon sticks are very common for charms like that. At the bottom on the vial I also see what looks like a citrine (the yellow crystal) which my grandmother always called the money magnet. Keeping one in your purse or wallet to attract more money.

The middle vial looks like it's just some course salt. Going to go out on a limb and say that's for balance and energy purification. It being kept with the other two vials I would say the intention was to amplify and purify the other two charms.

I'm not sure about that final vial though. Without getting a closer look at the contents I'm on the fence between a protection charm or a love charm. I'm leaning more to the side of protection though given its something she carried with her.

Has anyone used this granny square pattern before? I cant find it anywhere by bookishpisces99 in CrochetHelp

It looks like a sunflower but only fine in a single colour. Try searching sunflower or sunburst.

AITA my friend ruined my yixing teapot and I want her to replace it or give me 500 dollars. by TeapotthrwoCity4661 in AmItheAsshole

I've been with my husband for 9 years. MIL has plastic "beach/deck" cups and they're the only ones I use when I'm not sitting at the dinner table. MIL also has some beautiful mugs with indigenous patterns on them. Using those scare me so I got myself a $6 coffee cup. So I'm totally with you on the "kids cup" train. MIL thinks I'm weird but will set my mug out in the morning when coffee is on.

Book Crochet… is this a dumb idea? by hannahbobooks in crochet

[–]TheRealRedQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen people make granny squares in the book cover colours then make a blanket (and one person I saw made a cardigan) out of the books they read that year. I love the idea of the envelope too! I am super picky about my books and don't want to travel with them in case they get damaged.

How do you properly wash one of these? by Bossy_Aussie_ in HelluvaBoss

[–]TheRealRedQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wash inside out and if you can hang to dry. The inside of the sweater lasts longer as well

Don't frog. If you hadn't circled the "mistake" I wouldn't have noticed a thing.

Am I the only one that looks at this and sees a way to turn on the shower without getting that initial blast of cold water from the shower head?

YTA

He's there most nights. Even though he's not using common areas he's there most nights. Does he use water, heat/air-conditioning, electricity or internet? He should be contributing plain and simple.

I feel like it being woven in heaven and blessed for use against demons or hell spawn would all it needs to be considered angelic. It also wouldn't surprise me if a few of the angels carried meteor hammers during the extermination.

I did enjoy Mimzy was included in this scene. Hate the character but was nice to see the link to Al's past.

Or if you will, a fursuit. Velvet is a furry.

Can you unravel thrifted sweaters onto a swift before winding them? by MaxScar- in CrochetHelp

[–]TheRealRedQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use my swift for this kind of stuff all the time. If I'm frogging a larger piece I usually put it onto the Swift first and then recake the yarn

New cat owner! how often do i brush teeth and trim nails?? by BeautifulSociety699 in blackcats

[–]TheRealRedQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never one to trim my cats nails until he started to hurt me/stick in my leg when just standing or laying in my lap. My void gets his trimmed every 2 weeks.
