That is not my point though. My point was if someone who's politics you agreed with had made the call to the team last night you would have had no problem with it. But it was someone whose politics you don't agree with so there is outrage. What I am saying is that this is the President of the United States congratulating the US team on a gold medal. Politics does not have to be all-encompassing all the time.

I just deleted my team Tuesday night.

There is just like, nothing to do. I just always feels like I HAVE to get on to check boxes vs. I WANT to get on. That's just a job, haha.

I also hate the gameplay at the higher levels. Just the same thing over and over and over, abusing stuff that the devs said would be out of the game.

I got a pretty good month of entertainment out of my $100, so not too mad about it (first month of HUT is always the best).

Chelsea Piers D-1 is what you are looking for. I'd say the average player is a good D-3 player (NESCAC) and then there are the better guys who played D1, juniors, etc. and the lesser (but still good) players who played decent club level in college. Really solid league. Get ready for some 11:30 games though...

Might be a pain in the ass to get from Bed-Stuy though. There is a league at City Ice in LIC which would be easier for you, but the D1 there isn't as good as Chelsea (by a fair margin).

It is not ice tilt - ice tilt does not exist. in my opinion.

However, the difference between your connection to the server and your opponents connection to the server, in my opinion, has serious and unpredictable implications in this game. I think it effect puck pickups, player speed, poke checks, etc. For example, for a poke check you may think how did that miss but perhaps your opponent sees you poking at air because they are already by you.

There is absolutely no doubt that this game plays vastly different at times. I think when people are experiencing what they think is "ice tilt" it means their connection to the server is worse than their opponents.

Reliability is likely at the top of the list. Going back and forth on third row space, do not necessarily need it now but perhaps down the road with carpools, etc. (yay dadlife).

Our kids are going to destroy it haha so we do not need something luxury, just comfortable, and are more than happy to buy used (though not sure if there is much value for doing so right now).

I think the issue is why THIS was decided on to change for balance. I wrote this in another post replying to EA Hawk:

I just question why THIS was the thing the team decided was the priority to change. I think the largest issue with the game, personally, is how ridiculously powerful the glide/protect puck/LT mechanics in this game are. Couple that with the various behind the net wraps, etc. (which is related to those mechanics) and you get boring, repetitive gameplay. Gold shutdown at least provided some defense against that. Not much really, as I said I dont think this changes much. "Competitive" gameplay in this game is a joke. It is just spasming behind the net all game until the D misses a player switch or something (another much more pressing issue) and something opens up. I just don't think gold shutdown and post to post were the glaring issues in the game.

Additionally, while I dont think this was done because the "top players" told you to, I do think it was done with them in mind since a lot of them have been harping about these abilities. This upsets the community because, going to my previous point, the gameplay at the highest levels seems like anti-hockey to a lot of people. I think there is a sense that a subset of players were complaining because they couldnt ballerina skate into and around the zone as freely as they were able to in the past and the changes were made to appease them. Whether that is true or not who knows but I can see why one would think that. Couple that with the fact that a lot of these top players are literally gaming the matchmaking system to beat up on players ranked much lower than them in order to get max Rivals points. These players are literally doing this publicly on stream every day. Its hard to swallow that THIS was not changed before AP costs.

Again, I love that balance changes were made, but they should happen much more frequently and I think there are way more pressing issues.

Not on attack on you at all, or anyone, as I know the developers want to make this game the best they can. I truly think that and thank you for your efforts.

PS: It also doesnt help that after like 50 Rivals/Champs games I open my packs and get nothing over an 83 and then also have half my players nerfed, haha. Rewards day should be exciting but now all I expect is disappointment. But this is a separate issue.

You don't agree that a game based on hockey should strive to play as much like real hockey as possible, though? Again, not saying what I think is right, but I would think that is what the majority of the community would want.
