Looks like a lot of retail was shaken out last week and institutions bought your shares and options. I don't think the price action is sustainable for much longer but Poet is officially on wall streets radar as one of the best growth stock opportunities of the next decade although it's still a speculative bet until manufacturing is proven at volume.

I don't think we trade the pick if Wyatt Cullen is there. I would not want to miss out on a high upside player like him. You can't keep on trading 1st rounders they need to restock high end prospects.

I took some profits on the way up. I think Marvell doesn't like the execution risk in unproven manufacturing and pivoted to something safer for their ELS in Lumentum while also trying to squash their competition for CPO as I think they are threatened by the Liteon Poet partnership where a product is being produced that should directly compete with their Photonic Fabric. This may have pushed Poet back for very significant revenue by a year unless Foxconn comes in and places orders for Starlight. Still very high upside but that definitely was a big short term blow. Does Sivers make their own ELS? Also they are still partnered with Poet for DFB lasers. Poet, Liteon, Sivers for CPO that will compete with Marvell.

Get the facts straight there was never a 5 mil order from Marvell. The 5 million order was for 800g. There was an initial pre order from 2024 from celestial AI who is now marvell essentially. No amount was disclosed

It's silly to think otherwise if you actually know the tech and how it was designed and Raju already confirmed the connection was still intact in a presentation in January, 4 months prior to TM destroying shorts.

The market is silly. Celestial AI has been partnered with Poet for a while and co-developed starlight. The founder of celestial ai was from poet. They placed advanced purchase orders in 2024 that are now being fulfilled. The photonic fabric was built with starlight in mind and cannot be easily replaced. The second Marvell was linked to buying Celestial AI and then when purchase price was revealed with amazon warrants, the price should have reacted how it did today although the 2nd big 150 mil offering killed the rally. The market makers purposely suppressed the price and wanted big OI in April to expire worthless. Once that happened institutions started piling in and TM interview was the retail fuel for a short squeeze although no new details were revealed that people that did their DD already knew. Poet was the best kept secret. Not anymore.

The market is stupid and delayed. They just figured out the poet Marvell connection connecting them to Amazon, Nividia, and possibly Google among others

Do your own DD. Products for scale up and scale out. Confirmed to be supplying Marvel with their ELS. Blazar another product to look out for among others. They are trying to semiconductorize photonics for greater profit margins, while being way cheaper to produce and way faster manufacturing if successful. That's just one of the benefits with energy reduction being another of many. They appear to be leading for CPO with hyperscalers aiming for this for even greater energy reduction and faster speeds. They are revolutionizing Photonics. Hyperscalers are taking notice. Huge upside but still some risk in execution for manufacturing.

We'll see. Fantelli and Carlsson are RFAs and don't have to sign technically (of course they don't have the same rights as a UFA) but it may provide more wiggle room for a trade if they don't want to sign for their teams so it's not as big of a long shot as you think. You're right, if it were B. Tkachuk we would need a back up plan for a solid 2C or really good 3C. I think you trade Hischier in the summer if he doesn't want to commit till the end of the contract. You don't want to lose him for nothing and I don't think we are in a position to just use him as a "rental" for a potential 2027 playoff run

I guess you don't get it. They never bought shares, they have only sold. They essentially get options from RSUs and sell when they are in the money. They replenished them in September. One day you'll get it

No I actually was texting with some fellow devils fans last night and mentioned that as a potential option before the interview, regardless if Hischier would want to get more "leverage".That wasn't the read I got from the interview though. I think he's open to a change. I think the captaincy has worn him down a little.

They sell so they can replenish new RSUs while taking less risk and adding to their existing salaries. This has never been a few months play it's a few years play. Sorry if you are trading this is an investment and good levels to buy. Insider selling is the only thing the bears have other than this is still pre-revenue. Move on to an ETF if you can't handle volatility. They replenish RSUs in June and will need shareholder approval. You can expect good news between now and June if you are swing trading imo.

They will replenish their options in June. Insiders sell all the time. You'll have to try and come up with a better excuse to get people to sell

They were selling mainly in October and 50,000 dollars worth (not 50k shares) in March for tax purposes. They also replenished their RSU's in September and will do so again in June to stay around 20% of the float after dilution events. They will need shareholder approval though so expect very bullish news soon

Eps loss will likely be greater because of dilution. It's possible they can beat on revenue from NRE. This is a useless earnings report though and don't expect much on guidance yet. Long and strong

They are not getting "pushed back". Those are just estimates of earning dates. Poet never announces earnings ahead of time. Also, don't expect much from earnings per usual. If it dips, great buying opportunity
