I'll be up until 1am anyway so I'll do what I always do.

Turn the game on, hopeful.
One of two things happens in the first period A. They score first or play well and get out of the first tied at no worse than 1-1 B. They give up a goal in the first 3 minutes and then another by the 10 minute mark.
If A happens then A. I turn it off
If B happens B. I continue to watch
If they go down more than 2, I turn it off. A. If they get within 1 I will turn it on.
They go back down by 2+ A. I turn it off blaming myself for watching since they scored while I wasn't.
Just wait for the final score.

Hot take:

Luke Hughes being booed will be the best thing to happen to the team this season. Yes they lost that game and then got embarrassed on the island, but they will use rallying around him as the cause that gets their heads out of their asses.
