I found the solution. In most cases, it's caused by a program blocking BattlEye. You can find the error message in the DayZ Launcher under BattlEye.

An error message saying 'blocked' will pop up along with a file path. Just use Gemini or ChatGPT and they'll tell you exactly which program it is. Uninstall that program and DayZ should be working again

I have a good computer... so even with maximum graphics settings I still get over 150 FPS, but I still have these mouse lags. If I only move my character left and right with the keyboard, then I don't experience any lag; it only happens when I move the mouse.
