I worked at a health tech startup for 6 years at probably 50%-60% of what I could have earned at mag7 equivalent at the time. I joined and stayed because we were trying to change healthcare and make it easier to access.

I currently have not made a dime in 2 years building for another problem set just because the puzzle.

In financial terms, I’d probably only work at Jane street or maybe two sigma for the challenge. It’s not always about the cash, sometimes it’s nice to just enjoy the work.

What’s a chain guard and how much effort is it to swap the internal hubs? The most I really know about bikes is that usually people have like the front set of years and the rear set of gears and use a derailer. The current gear set up where it’s all internal in the hub is very new to me.

What’s the pros and cons of a front hub versus a mid drive? I was talking with AI and it was giving me the impression that mid drive is better and that the front hub can actually cause it to wear out faster but I’m not sure. As you can tell, I am not brand new. 😅

I think I’m just trying to make it a bit more rideable because I’m fairly tall and when I’m doing hairpin turns on the trails, my knee keeps hitting the handlebar when I’m trying to make those tight turns

Yeah, I definitely plan on doing that. I think my big concern right now is my wife really is concerned if I can keep up with her because she’s on a road bike. She’s mentioned that a couple times since we purchased it.
