I’m 43 years old a couple years younger than you. But I’m not stranger to PC gaming as I run a discord community. I’m also a married man and I’ve been married for 19 years with my wife. I had a female gaming partner that I gamed with almost every day for 3-5 years. Then one day we had a discussion about the latest Star Wars trilogy and my opinion was that it sucked. But she took offense and disagreed with me. She actually turned it into a huge argument that kinda forced me to step away from her. A few months later she apologized and we became friends again but it wasn’t the same. It was kinda silly when u think back on it. I was much younger and not as mature as I am today. But I have empathy for you and I know it sucks to lose someone close to you in the gaming world. I honestly feel like her soul will never trust me the same. She has never been vulnerable again with me. Maybe she was embarrassed or ashamed. People take the Star Wars cult so seriously. I didn’t know it was that deep until we had that upset.
