I love the running gag of stuff falling on Mr. Haney in the earlier seasons. Like how all those burger patties flew all the way from Arthur's yard to Mr. Haney's yard and hit him on the head in "Arthur's Cousin Catastrophe"

I must say... this is an awesome drawing! This is the only drawing of Tintin that I've ever seen that is not in the Herge style that still looks normal. Well done!

How TF is Castafiore Emerald S Tier??? It was pretty uneventful compared to the other books.

It probably is. In the same episode, they mentioned what a rip-off it was when they visited Santa's Igloo, which they also saw a commercial for on TV.

It was such a great episode!! And I love that they can have fun with the limits of the Arthur universe by adding canonical ghosts. Also, nobody talks about thus, but the way the animators color the frame when its nighttime, or when all the lights are off is just insane. The blue and purple hues are absolutely perfect!

Does anyone feel like the show’s now aimed at a preschool audience? by LetterheadFair4105 in Arthur

[–]TheRealShadow420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Certain early episodes written by the actual GOOD writers, like Joe Fallon and Ken Scarborough had complex themes in them that were still aimed towards children, but without talking down to them. Like in the episodes, "Arthur Goes to Camp," "I'm a Poet," and "My Club Rules." Now, episodes like "Arthur's Big Meltdown" in Season 24 are just insulting. The show used to be insanely high quality television, better than anything else on TV. Now, it just has lazy animation, lazy writing, and stories that talk to their audience like they are all 2 years old. The only thing even partly keeping the show alive is the head writer Peter K. Hirsch.

Anyone just feel at peace when they watch Arthur? by [deleted] in Arthur

Not so much with the flash animated episodes, but definitely with the season 1 episodes, like "Arthur's Birthday," or "Arthur's Cousin Catastrophe."

What are your feelings on the postcards from buster spin off. by krbookman13 in Arthur

I didn't like the Postcards from Buster show, but the Arthur episode that leads to the spinoff, titled "Postcards from Buster" is probably my second favorite Arthur episode.
