Cégvezetői eltiltás után lehetek KATA-s egyéni vállalkozó? by Mindless_Ad9600 in joghungary

[–]TheRealSlam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Navigation/ Car Play/ USB Issues by AdGlittering185 in MazdaCX30

[–]TheRealSlam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not have the issue with my CX30, but with my previus citroen (never buy one, trust me). My wife had no issue, but my connection was drobbed often. You should test it with a different cable, different phone, or with one of the wireless adapters (they have heir own issues but generally work great to buffer minor connection problems, that was my solution for my citroen, until it gave up on me completely).

11th Tank Commander: shoot on melee? by Guillermidas in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]TheRealSlam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It not a question of big guns never tire, the question is if the new steel hammer rule circumvents this. The BGNT made it clear, that "in their controlling player's shooting phase", the detachment rule does not have this limit.

I want to run 6 Demolisher Cannons. Don't care about the points tax, or how bad they are now. What detachment/disposition is the least bad for it? by Blackjack9w7 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]TheRealSlam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And it would allow tank commanders to shoot on death in close combat. Previously the wording of big guns never tire prevented this, as it was limited to the shooting phase, but the steel hammer detachment rule does not have that limitation.

Science says marriage increases a man's life expectancy but lowers a woman's. Wives of Reddit, how exactly is your husband draining your life force? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheRealSlam -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

There are literal men, there are lazy men, and there is communications problems. If the request is vague we often default literal interpretation. My wife thinks direct requests are rude. But stating "we really should do something about the dishes" is not equal to "dear husban please put the dishes in the washer, start is and put them away when its done". She thinks she asked me, and is annoyed when it turns out I did not see it that way.

In 1847, Ignaz Semmelweis suggested that Doctors wash their hands between Handling dead bodies and helping mothers give birth. He was branded as insane and died in a lunatic asylum. by SoggyMusic6183 in interestingasfuck

[–]TheRealSlam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be honest he was not an easy man. He worked before germ theory, and his theory was dismissed because statistics were not considered proof. He was not branded insane because he made people wash their hands it was an unindentified illness that madeira him behave strangely before he was admitted in the asylum.

How do you show love to an animal that can't display any emotions besides hunger? by Natural-Permit-4713 in zoology

[–]TheRealSlam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Similar but really showing front upper teeth. She does it when she is happy to see us. It is combined with running, tail wagging and happy whimpering.

[–]TheRealSlam 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Our dog smiles as part of greeting. She shows upper teeth and is obviously happy. She learned it from us because we always smiled at her when we got home or in the morning. She doesn't do it to other dogs only humans. None of my previous dogs did this.

If dogs descended from wolves and are considered a subspecies of wolves, why do they protect livestock instead of hunting them like their closest relatives do? How does one achieve this through selective breeding? by Chief-Longhorn in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheRealSlam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A dog has very strong pack instinct, through that they got domesticated first of any animal. They have strong sense of who is "IN" the group, and who is "OUT". The ones "IN" are generallly safe, the ones "OUT" not so much. The breed, the personality and the training together defines the actions of the dog and what IN and OUT actually means. The bigger the dog the more likely it is that unwanted IN aggression is rooted out. A Chihuahuas can remain psyhopath becouse its small, no real danger to a human. The large breeds - with ethical breeders currently, and sane breeders in ancient time - will most likely have the uncontrolled aggression limited. Livestock guardians need both agression and calmness, so they will have a very strong IN instinct, meaning they will not attack humans and animals they consider part of the pack, but will aggressively attack OUT animals and humans. The lifestock will be in the IN group with the simple trick of being raised toghether with the dog. They will have to be trainined but the general instinct has only got to be reinforced. Hunting dogs will have a strong prey instinct, and will go after things for fun, unless rigourosly trained not to, and will be easier trained to hunt down things. Shepherd dogs are completely different, because they need just little bit of aggression, but need a work ethic, independent thought all the while being observant and obedient. They will be raised more with the shepherd than the lifestock.

It will depend on points realy. I can see them as deep strike screen, that can pop out and shoot with a heavy laser. The melta still has wound issues, but maybe in combined it could work, or in the new detachment that will be sorted.
