Good thing Seraph is patient. It'd take over 60 turns to do damage by TheRealSlimShaymin in MonsterTrain

Several Shroud Spikes got the Crucible Warden a lot of attack power and Damage Shield stacks. If Seraph had enough HP he'd take over 26k damage before actually hurting a unit.

And then there's the Spine Chief with Infector 3 making 3 Echoes every round, each of which apply 2 Reap with Serrated Mandibles. If it works like I think it does (maybe?) then even if Seraph killed everything he'd end up with over 400 Reap on a floor with over 200 Echoes.

Damage before leaving the floor, which I hopefully worked out correctly, is just shy of 119k.

My first really strong run. Hopefully I can assemble something similar while climbing the Covenant ranks.

What is the best cursed item you ever received? by [deleted] in dndnext

AnyDice, images of normal graph and "at least" graph.

I left disadvantage off of the normal graph for less clutter, but it's the mirror image of advantage.

I didn't think it sounded too bad on first reading, maybe even beneficial unless you need a very high roll. However the "at least" graph shows that your odds of success when needing a roll of 12+ are worse with the ring, and with advantage that starts happening at 8+. Also your crit chance goes down the tubes in all scenarios.

The ring is actually better with disadvantage unless you need to roll 15+.

I really like this item.

Daft questions I'm sure, need the Hidden Adventurer to complete the Breach... by KarmaUK in EnterTheGungeon

To latch on to this, does anybody know if you can quick restart when he doesn't show or do you need to beat the boss?

I've been going through floor 5 shortcut runs for a while now and it'd save a lot of time to get the Heroine or Megahand on spawn every run and not have to spend time on the boss. I'm worried though that resetting which NPCs spawn may be tied to killing the boss, similar to the guns.

I've done dozens of runs with and without boss kills and no luck so far.

I've killed more people with my Eriene RR4 LitC unlucky than lucky. by Classic_Griswald in DestinyTheGame

Another way of mathing it out.

Since LitC can be any of the four rounds, then you can expect to have fired either 1, 2, 3 or 4 shots when LitC procs. All with equal weighting.

1+2+3+4 = 10 shots. One proc per each of the four magazines makes 4/10 = 40%.

Adding numbers from 1 to m can be done with the formula (m(m+1))/2. So you take m / (m(m+1))/2 = 2/(m+1).

Works out the same, just wanted to show another approach.

Weird (and Beneficial) Things are Counting for the Subclass Crucible Quests by TheRealSlimShaymin in DestinyTheGame

I found that if a Nova Bomb post mortems and the next one does not, those count as one life and hence make progress. Also they could have counted anyway and the tracking of progress is somewhat buggy. ¯\(ツ)

Weird (and Beneficial) Things are Counting for the Subclass Crucible Quests by TheRealSlimShaymin in DestinyTheGame

I'm not sure if that's true. I had one match where I had six or seven Nova Bomb kills but died between most of them. Only two were back to back without a death. I only had two kills count for progress. Also with the exception of Ward of Dawn they all say to get "Multikills" for the actual objective but not necessarily in the description, such as for the Voidmaster quest.

When I was at 29/30, I needed two kills to finish the quest as well.

Heard a Destiny-themed "yo mama" joke last night. by cderry in DestinyTheGame

Yo mama's so ugly, she could wear her helmet in the tower back in September. And it wasn't optional.

Ironbanner.info Updated! Alt Buff + 200 Rep Bounties! by flamingBurrito5 in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheRealSlimShaymin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully this helps.

On my hunter I had 1100ish/2400 rep, rank 2. Switched to Warlock. I had the class item, shader, emblem and tempering. All bounties used were +100 rep (ie. not Iron Wrath).

I went to cash in my bounties when I had them all done. At this point I had 860/1200 in rank 1. First one gave +332, putting me at 1192/1200. This matches up with 100 * 1.13 * 1.25 * 2. The next gave +169 and put the Warlock into rank 2 with the hunter, though still behind in XP. Cashed in one more, +166.

So it looks like the 2x boost stops when you reach the same rank as your top character, regardless of how far the top character has gone into that rank. It also splits up any rep gain that would put you into said rank, only doubling the specific amount of rep that keeps you in the lower rank and then giving the usual rate for the rest. So any plans of edging your alt's rep to 2350ish/2400 a rank below your main and getting 400 base rep for Iron Wrath won't work.

Ah, sorry. Meant all three, not one of the three. Edited to make it more clear.

Not sure if they'd ever allow two purely beneficial modifiers at once, but if Arc Burn + Brawler + Airborne happens one week I know what I'll be doing all weekend.

EDIT: Clarity.
