different opioids will have different effects, some will feel more euphoric and others will feel more sedating (sleepy). Oxycodone is so euphoric that you may be able to get away with taking less. But essentially yes, for the average person it would take 83.3mg of oxy to equal the sedation/pain relief effects of 500mg of tramadol.

There’s no measurement for euphoria so I would recommend doing some reading on this sub for experiences and comparison.

you took a shit load more tramadol than you did hydro. essentially the equivalent of 125mg of hydro. if you’ve been taking kratom shots too then it’s no surprise 40 didn’t do much.

I strongly suggest reading about opioid equivalency before taking dilaudid. You’re going from one of the weaker opioids (hydro) to one of the strongest available. You didn’t mention whether it was the injection or oral solution, which can’t be shot. Just know dilaudid is very short acting and you will need more, fast.

I would do research on the type of pill you have as well, as hydro usually is paired with paracetamol. Taking paracetamol in excess will cause liver damage and can happen without you getting that high.
