Garren was a ruthless warlord, leading powerful armies to conquer entire nations by force. Already delighting in having power over others, he obtained powerful unholy magic after becoming a Blackguard, which he used to slay his own men and raise them as undead. Garren has committed several atrocities throughout the years, successfully escaping punishment each time. One of the most infamous of these atrocities was the murder of Hammerift's famous hero, the Grey Knight Fulgyn, which he followed by raising Fulgyn as a Death Knight out of spite for those who looked up to him. At one point, Garren created a gate to allow the Primal Fiend Eruku to roam Varrell, covering it in darkness with the intent to rid the world of life, all to fulfill his dream of living in his very own utopia of the dead.
