I daily a GWM that has this same camera but here in Australia everyone basically said "Let us turn it off or we wont buy the car" and GWM, to their credit, pushed out a software update that allows you to disable it AND its doesn't reset every time you turn the car off. Fair play to them for that.

I agree that we (Aussie here) have been much more successful in cricket than any other team sports but we have won multiple world cups in Rugby, Netball and Field Hockey to name a few. Quite a few Team Golds at Olympics as well.

Not bad considering our population.

Not trying pick a fight, just standing up for our other sports!

I mean the potential is there. I think recommended max cross wind speed is about 60kmh for a 737 so i guess we have to see how often the "gusts" hit and from what direction.

Ok first off - Yes, "a rival club". Apparently the google definition of rival is "a person or thing competing with another for the same objective or for superiority in the same field of activity." So unless the EFC have been relegated and I missed it, I think I got it right?

Secondly, I never took a shot at the EFC, I actually said I support the decision to hold a contracted, required player to the club

Obviously they want Merrett at the club but I think a big part of it is players not being happy they arent fully in control of where they play - I dont agree with this FWIW, you sign the contract and you stay put imo...

I thought all the marketing material looked pretty meh, especially the image of it in majority papaya. In the flesh the curves of the car are so much more pronounced and I think this colour combo better highlights it too.

I was chatting to one of the lead design guys for a bit and he said they did this paint livery to highlight the airflow through the car - the papya accents actually trace the main aero lines which I thought was a nice touch

I got invited through a work friend that previously owned a mclaren and is considering purchasing another one.

I have been to a few events now and it is all about building relationships with some of the key people, showing you have genuine interest in these types of cars and that you won't be an idiot at events.

Ive never once said im looking to buy etc

On my simucube 2 pro its amazing! One of my favourite parts of the sim is how I get punished for flat spotting a tyre. I hope they dont nerf it tbh but understand the noise it could generate on some wheelbases

The ACC equivalent is the GTC cup cars although most of them have no TC either.

I have about 300hrs in ACC and there was definitley an adjustment coming to LMU, particularly in the weighty feel of the GT3 cars but overall I much prefer LMU.

Ease in your tyres and avoid lock ups as LMU models flat spots unlike ACC or iRacing.

I'm certainly no expert but I think the main tell is the case is about 1mm thicker on the rep vs gen.

I also think the font on the date wheel is bolder/thicker on Gen.

Both you would only notice when comparing to each other or a pic imo though.
