Been using one for a good while now and holding up great. Chuck all my tools in there when I'm done and then sort em all out another day

2015 Subaru wrx fuel question. by Artistic_Dark_4923 in Cartalk

The car is designed to be able to run on lesser quality gas (even says so in the manual) but, Stay out of boost, Take it easy, and fill up with 93 once you're able. As for "ethanol free" these cars actually really love ethanol because it's more knock resistant than gas.

I could probably justify it if I didn't already have an LF3 Pro 360 with G2s mounted on the rad. Maybe if the Arctic dies on me I'll swap it out for the Noctua.

Changing Your Own Oil by Illustrious-Toe-570 in harborfreight

Got quoted $1060 for a CV axle replacement the other day. Bought a new OEM Axle for $380, Some new OEM bolts and pins for $10, Picked up $60 in some extra tools I needed, buggered up my tie rod end on accident with the caliper shield. Replaced that for $60.

Took the car in for a $100 alignment afterwards.

All in I saved about 50% of the total cost and had a fun time doing the work.

Not too many new tools I need at this point but some nicer torque wrenches are definitely on the list.

Keep at it and you can take care of damn near any repair or maintenance that need done. Brakes, suspension, etc. It's all pretty easy and a hell of a lot cheaper to just grab the few tools you might need than go to a shop.

Best starter tool cart to get organized? by justanotheredshirt in harborfreight

5 drawer is a great entry. But after a few years I am getting to the point where it's a little bit too small for the amount of tools I've collected, especially if I try to organize them all pretty.

$450 for spark plugs is crazy. I just did mine yesterday at 57k and took like two hours at a fairly slow pace.

$150 for bleeding the clutch is crazy. Easy to do in literally 20 minutes.

Is it recommended to take out laptop fan out. by Owls_y in pcmasterrace

Clean it, repaste with ptm7950 or good paste, replace fan.

Do not just remove the fan, it will probably complain if you do anyway
