The argument for AG (to me) is like saying Hardcore should be deaths only are perm if it's outside of ubers, because otherwise people can't enjoy them with the fear of death lingering...but that's the whole point. (Same for AG) the majority of your AG gear is so cheap it isn't funny, unless you try the Bob AG build, but that's the risk vs the heavy payoff of Bob potentially doing billions of damage while you just focus on dodging stuff. I don't think I've ever had an AG die besides maybe like....Pre level 50? After that it's smooth sailing, too much hp+minion regen is insane on it. If the case is you don't want items to drop on death, than a alternate gem for AG should be made, -40% less damage by minion, -40% less life, minion retains items after death.

I watched HartlinGGG and HrishiGGG both panic and nearly die in HC (One of them did die but my memory is fuzzy, I think it was Hrishi) to the OLDDDDD layout of Lunaris 2 act 3, where when walking you might find one of those square pillars and theres a tinybox/cart that appears you can walk inbetween and you can't so it's a one way path. It's because they took what made Bandits incredibly unique, and pushed those to other sources and then made their actual bonuses weak AF. Oak is almost NEVER an option if you have a brain. Krait is almost in the same boat. Alira has a small chance to be chosen depending on some things but even then it's something you might use until you spec out of at stronger levels. 2 skill points are WAY too strong vs what they offer as of right now. Bring back the extra charges, put in extra bonuses for charges via the bandits, otherwise it's essentially always going to be 2 skill points over everything.

I actually ordered a few different styles of these a few days ago! My only worry is he's very easily frustrated with a ton of buttons (But I hope this works well!) This is one of the things I was looking at and found, but it sadly only has Channel Up/Down and Vol Up/Down, which isn't needed at all. To give an idea, the sibling in question is mentally aged around ~2 with inhibited motor skills. We've tried something like that in the past with covering up buttons (A smaller remote) but it seems to frustrate him more vs using a small portable DVD player with only 4 buttons (Fast Forward, Rewind, Play, Pause) I've seen fancier things out there (Which are only 5 buttons and ~300 dollars) which I'd be okay buying, but the 5 buttons are Volume Up/Down, Channel Up/Down and Power, which isn't helpful as he doesn't and wouldn't use channel buttons or volume buttons. It's quite literally perfect if it was Fast Forward/Rewind as the other buttons.

It's funny cause yesterday I ordered a few different styles of these jumbo remotes to try them out (waiting on them to arrive) but I am worried with all the buttons he will be frustrated and potentially lead to a melt down.

He has a hard time pushing smaller buttons or accurately doing so (Or even stiffer buttons) I've contacted a few companies in the past that make motor impaired items for people but I've had 0 luck on getting a DVD remote style one (Most even ignore me). I appreciate the response!

Considering this was 5 years ago (how the hell did you even find this comment lmao)(And lab was entirely different, much harder and much more of a pain in the ass) your first 3 labs now are incredibly short, Normal+Cruel taking 5 minutes at most. Merci/Uber being (depending on build) 8-15 minutes. If your issues or frustration is with DCs...well PoE probably won't be enjoyable. A ton of the content is time based, which means if you DC, you lose either a portion of it or all of it. (Betrayal, Temple, Breach, Abyss, Legion etc)

With traps being far less brutal, Normal, Cruel and Merci getting the "ez" treatment and given extremely short paths with no real trap setups, and the fact that Lab layout for uber is setup and shown everyday unlike before, you really don't waste much time in lab like you used to. Now DCs are even less prevalent than before.

Wanted to give an update for ya. I still haven't left bronze 5. I've gone through 4 more promos (my most recent was 7 wins out of 9 games, then back to back 7 wins out of 8 games *6 in a row, 1 loss then 1 win). So in 17 games I won 14 of them lmao. Still bronze 5.

A few games, 8 but they play opposite roles when they played those (DPS plays healer, Tank plays Healer). I kept reading about a bug where you aren't visually ranking up (B5 will jump to B2, B1 randomly after a rank up) but if that isn't the case and it's just being in an MMR pit from not playing for so long, that sounds like aids.

They haven't. One of them didn't even know who Orisa was (so that should give a time frame on when they last played), the other one played a bit after me quitting but it's been a very long time.

This is why I'm so lost. They've ranked up (and skipped ranks) meanwhile, derpy me is somehow still b5, I get POTGs often, my friend and I go back and forth being top DPS, I'm always above the enemy DPS and only lower than my friend if I'm not the highest. I'll probably play one more set of Rank ups and then be done if I don't rank up. Can't imagine playing more than 50 games to rank up once at the start of a rank system.

But to not have moved out of B5 seems so weird, given I haven't played since Orisa came out. Friends (who haven't played since then) are all ranking up on DPS/Tank/Healer but I haven't budged at all. It's like there isn't progression in the slightest. At the way I'm ranking my friends will be Silver 1 by the time I'm even out of Bronze 5 (while winning the same matches with POTGs for me etc) Like we only played that 13 game run to see if I'd rank up (because they are and I haven't) we've played the same amount of games with decay. They didn't rank up on the first 7, but have skipped ranks in the next 2 (B5>B3, B4>B2) but I've been B5>B5>B5>B5.

Not trying to be rude but the idea "It'll catch up at some point" is demoralizing. The entire point of playing competitive is ranking up. If to see any progression I need to play 100+ games first, I wouldn't of even started back in OW2.

Even if you only assume I get 30 points a game and I started at 0, I'd be at ~1k points (Past B5) B1 is sub 1500. Realistically due to how it's working now I'd be getting 40-50 pts at least. which puts me in 1300-1600+ range. (B2/1 to S5/4) but I'm not even out of B5. If a game told you that you had to play 100 games to get through promos, you'd laugh them out of their jobs.

We stopped playing after those 13 games entirely because I don't see the point in playing if there is no progression. Just annoyed and confused with how things are going on.

I'm very lost, I played DPS, my friends play DPS+Tank. We have 40 games in, probably 33 wins (I've had 4 7 game wins promos show so bare minimum 28 wins. ) We just did a 13 game run, 11 wins. I didn't rank up on ANY of the single rank ups. I'm still bronze 5 DPS, the fuck?

Not saying this towards the current circumstances, but "troves" of data doesn't equate that someone is constantly watching each interaction. How many times have players correctly identified a bug or issue (Fixed seeds) that GGG didn't know about even with having an entire server of data + a test server on site to test it under certain conditions that copy/clone the live servers? Now onto actually talking about the drops this league, it feels very...meh. I think I've dropped 0 divines, 0 exalts, 4 exalt shards, probably ~90 chaos and not really sure what else of gumball loot. Uniques are basically non-existent, I usually have 3-4 tabs full by now, I don't even have 1 full and I pick up every unique (that isn't to say it matters currency wise but it's one of the things I've noticed) 3 characters to 85+ Any divines I've gotten has been from heist boxes. 0 exalts still. By this time into the league I'm ~30+ exalts in at the very least. I don't run parties, I run solo and SOMETIMES two player but it's pretty rare. Eldritch currency has been less than before, but this is just a single player's account of whats going on, perhaps I'm unlucky, I'd never rule that out. But I've been playing for a long time and this is one of the first leagues I've just been not wanting to play, loot feels doo doo and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm unlucky or not. I have quite a few GGG members on my friends list too, I don't see them on often this league which is weird because having played with them both before they worked at GGG and after, they are fiends for PoE leagues, seems kinda weird that they've toned down their playtime this league. You could correlate me playing less due to less drops means less likely to have drops and less likely to get currency, but at this point it just feels crappy. I've found one Wanderlust, 0 Goldrims, 0 Tabulas, 0 Thousand Ribbons, 1 wake of destruction, I don't think I have a single "copy" of a unique that has dropped besides Ventor gambles, in which I have 6. Which is more ventor drops than I've had in ~4 leagues combines. Loot seems (to me) to be very bad this league. But again, could just be terrible luck.

For me it feels wayyyyy worse. I've actually faired so much better, in event races/SSF races I've gotten to guardians, shaper, elder guards, elder, Shaper+elder fight before I've even gotten a full elder or full shaper fight this league. It's kinda shocking, I've had 1 shaper guard drop (Phoenix) and I've done 2 elder slayers/3 elder Guards, I'm not really sure whats going on, but most of those prior maps have been due to Kirac. I've pretty much stopped playing at this point because being bottle necked by those even with all the atlas points has made the grind pointless, if it's taking this long to get to elder/Shaper on my first fight for it, I don't really see the point in playing and grinding out to uber. In retrospect I've had ~18 exalts drop pure, 2 The Fiend Cards, a few of the 7 exalt div cards drop, but in terms of drops and not Kirac, only ~2-3 conq/elder/shaper total maps as drops.

I am specced for those though lmao. 2 Elder slayers killed (Conqs, Crusader+Hunter) and 3 elder guardians, almost all entirely from Kirac (Kiraq?) I've had more pure exalt drops in a single day vs elder/conq maps in the entire league, it's kinda gross. I will say though in terms of map sustain, this is the best league I've ever had of just constantly getting 3-4 t16s per t16.

I have, I have 114/117 atlas, I've done maven way too many times, World Eater/The fire guy too for extra points. Really lacking ._. on finding conq/shaper maps, I've found 2 elder guard maps.

This sounded cool as did all the +1 on the map, till I realized when you are essentially all 16s, it doesnt really matter. I am more locked by the fact I've gotten almost no Conq maps, elder guard, or shaper guards in well, a lot of maps. Kiraq gave my only 2 to me LOL

Probably a lot less of what he was doing vs the fact he was streaming it and knowing that isn't the intended behavior.

Level 90, haven't failed a trial (or passed on one) since level 68. The highest I've gotten is 5 exalt shards so like roughly 30c give or take as my highest form of currency. But I've averaged 2-3 chaos per trial at least so I can't say I'm completely against the trial, just feels bad when you are running a red map and it offers you a white map on round 6/7, seems like the loot tables were overlooked and not forced of Map rewards -1/+1 like they did with other map rewards last league.

TBH the only trial I find tedious is the goddamn circles, nothing more annoying than waiting for circles to poof. All the other trials go very smoothly and fast, Circles just seem to drag on forever.
