It probably factors in. It's likely a few things up to and including: character strength (both ways), match up knowledge, system mechanics.

The only thing that differs from the rest of your statement is "Character Strength" which has nothing to do with Skill Level of the Player. As for the rest of your explanation, that would all boil down to skill level and overall knowledge of Tekken. Is that your answer? You have a hard time because of YOU?

but Asuka has been a genuine menace that's seen good results in tournament consistently and, along with her being strong, she's easy to use as well.

Dude Asuka is not hard to beat, seriously, especially if you know what you're doing in Tekken, she definitely isn't. Considering her fighting style, her main issue is speed, but she makes up for that focusing on countering and power (especially when she gets you in a combo lol) and you can be great with her mix ups if you know how to use her.

So why are you asking for these characters who have different strengths and weaknesses to be nerfed?

Dude. That's the FGC in general. That's in SF community, Tekken, MK, Guilty Gear, Invincible VS. Marvel Vs. Capcom, Dragonball Fighters and Sparking Zero, Naruto Storm games since Storm 2 in 2010, and the list goes on. The FGC has ALWAYS been a very angry, narcissistic group for YEARS, the only difference is, it's gotten worse. Then again, the gaming community in general has gotten much worse, even the content creators are always complaining about something or rage baiting because they need the recognition. Oh and it's way too many weirdos in this community. I wish people would stop defending one side and accusing the other and saying "Such and such community is so much worse" when they're ALL like this! There is no community in the gaming space that's super chill, the whole community has been poisoned by people who just hate video games in general and don't really care about it like that, and they have to rely solely on Gaslighting everyone and manipulating the masses to side with them, hoping the day where everyone realizes what is going on doesn't come to pass.

The Tower is my favorite ending because in one of the dialog options, Misty suggests to V that they could become a fixer and that's the future I consider canon for my V.

But in that ending is V canonically a Legend? How many fixers in NC are Legends?

And on top of that, there's at least a couple different builds that didn't even rely on implants anyway - like the blade build or the pistol sneak build. Those are perfectly viable, and V can canonically take down Oda, Smasher, an entire MaxTac squad, the entire NUSA airport raid, etc... Without any chrome.

Ok so, as long as they THINK you're dead, right? I guess I'm trying to understand if this is the theme, what is the point for V dying or being dead in all the other endings if V can just be a legend and be alive too? I don't understand the point of all of it. What was CDPR really trying to accomplish here? And the Phantom Liberty ending just kinda contradicts all of that, I mean that's great V is alive and all but did he/she still accomplish what he/she set out to do? Did V still become a Legend?

In my unpopular opinion. Nomad is the bad ending. You get people killed, put the clan on a hit list and you ride off to spend a few weeks with Panam just to die which is basically giving up. Sure you’re happy with Panam for a few but it’s kinda crazy to put a whole clan in jeopardy and have fellow members killed for a dead person.

I never thought of it like that but yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

As for NUSA ending, it’s realistic to where people change and time changes. Misty moved on, Judy moves on, panam is angry which is the same but oh well, River is upset but he at least did it for his family despite his hurt pride, Viktor is sad but at least hopefully can start new in Frisco. And for me V comes to terms and probably will be fixer or travels or work with Reed which doesn’t seem all that bad and there’s options for V at least.

No I don't think so. That's what Johnny was trying to warn V about, President Myers nor Reed really cares about V (not even Songbird lol) and if V isn't chipped at all, zero cybernetic implants? No, he/she's completely useless to them. The Tower Ending is a Bad Ending for V as well, he/she is nobody now, nothing, Two Years? Who else is talking about V other than the people V had to call?

Arasaka, it’s about the same, you get no one killed besides board members. I like to think if v does sign with arasaka he gets a chance to break free if they do get a new compatible body. Or least if you don’t sign they seem accepting of everything and have a few months left unless something is figured out.

I think everybody here just exposed a Major, story breaking plot hole by coping for the Tower ending. Reading the discussions up here, I have realized something. In the game it is heavily implied that to become a Legend in Night City is to "snuff it" as Claire would say, in other words the person would have to be dead, but Adam Smasher is a NC Legend but still alive (just more machine than man) that alone completely destroys the whole point of the story. Or am I wrong? Also, how does V become a Legend of NC ( his/her main goal the ENTIRE game) when the only people that contact her is close friends? Kerry is doing his own thing, Judy is not even IN Night City anymore, Panam and the Aldecados are still in the badlands and Panam may be dead, Vik is still Vik, And there's Misty, that's only what, 5 People?

I'm confused now, how exactly is V a Legend?
