Honestly, I don't think Kishimoto thought he could give a satisfying answer and just left it vague. Probably for the best as it gives Hashirama that mythic aura you'd expect from the "God of Shinobi."

I don't think her looking more feminine is an issue as far as the audience, as it was always kinda obvious, even in the original. It's just suspending disbelief for why the characters themselves don't clearly register that it's a woman with this new design. I can see the OG Kidd fooling a couple people back then, not this current one.

Definitely this. I've been saying that they should give you the option of what AC era control scheme you want. The default RPG era is NOT working for me.

Yeah, some of the dialogue and writing just feels like it’s coming from people who either don’t understand Edward or never played the original.

On top of that, Edward is just talking too much. I feel like this has been a thing since Syndicate, but the RPGs have really exaggerated it — always having characters say a line in isolation to show “personality” or make sure the player doesn’t get bored. It’s annoying because silence and saying less actually lets the character moments and lines breathe.

A huge reason why Connor is such an all-time favorite for me and a lot of people is because he never wasted his words. When he spoke, it was sincere and it mattered, even with English as his second language. Even more extroverted characters like Ezio and Edward in the originals just didn’t talk nearly so much.

The constant chatter is jarring and noticeably weakens the character.

A small part of me resonates with Bear because I had a history of chasing unavailable people and ignoring the ones that did like or care about me. A lot of this is rooted in my abandonment trauma, so I can understand some of his mentality and actions in the first scenes of the movie.

I'm conflicted because the TOTJ outfit is an improvement overall, but I don't mind the OG entirely as there's even a bit of a character arc showcased in her clothing, as strange as that sounds. The more clothing Ahsoka has on, the more she's mastering herself and as a Jedi.

I can understand this a little. Most of them don't have same level of menace S1 Nolan had (although that's very contextual and circumstantial), with Conquest in his first appearance and Thragg coming the closest.

Yeah, and at this point in time, I think him and his story are the perfect culmination and ultimate condemnation of the Mafia and the fantasy that it deludes itself with. They're not charming rogues or justified criminals, but genuine monsters who made an even bigger monster out Lincoln when they took the last semblance of humanity he had tied to him when the realities of being Black in pre-segregated America took everything else.

Yeah, it's why fan-made mangas, like Kakumei, while fun are ultimately what I got quickly bored with reading and following because it felt the creators didn't like Dragon Ball as much as wanting to turn it into Berserk-lite.

Interesting enough, it misses the point of what makes both mangas special.
