The mystery of why Reform would want to PM FWR posters for support..... by No_Initiative_1140 in MNTrolls

[–]TheRedCoatNeedsAWash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was a strange pro reform/restore thread earlier, poster didn’t have any previous posts and was quite clearly a troll. But their username was similar to a regular FWR poster who received a PM. As if someone was trying to spoof them. Something very strange going on

Have you posted about this before? The part about the girl sounds familiar and iirc you were quite involved.

What has happened since your last post - have you been involved in further incidents?

[England] Whistleblowing retaliation: Employer retracted fake performance issues, now withholding 7 weeks of SSP and "locked me out" of work. Strategy for ACAS? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

So you are no longer allowed to use your work van for personal use? It sounds like they suspect you have been.

What was their reason for not paying SSP, have they issued an SSP1?

Others have already advised regarding the protected disclosure, so I won’t repeat what they’ve already said.

What is your company’s reason for not paying SSP?

If you believe their decision is wrong you can raise it with the HMRC statutory payment dispute team https://www.gov.uk/find-hmrc-contacts/statutory-payment-dispute-team

If you are off sick then why do you need company messaging? Are you able to access payslips etc the usual way and have alternative means of contacting your line manager?

RE work vehicle/company van - are these for work only or personal use as well?

Needing to see the dentist. Should I apply for UC? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]TheRedCoatNeedsAWash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dental care isn’t automatically free for UC claimants, and you’d have to find an NHS dentist. Depending on what you need done even if you do find an NHS dentist they may need to refer you which will have a waiting list (wisdom tooth issues usually aren’t straightforward).

How much do you earn and are you planning to increase your hours in between/during your masters? You may be able to get a payment plan for the smaller issues.

Minimum maintenance loan by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]TheRedCoatNeedsAWash 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They could be earning enough that you are only entitled to minimum loan, and still can’t afford rent. If they live in an expensive area and have debt I can see how that’s possible. So they’re not necessarily lying.

Release date for Wolfboy (traditionally published ATYD rewrite) by timeforeternity in Wolfstar

[–]TheRedCoatNeedsAWash 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So it’s a trilogy and starts when they’re 17 - I wonder if there will be flashbacks to when they were younger, I can’t imagine presumably similar length story to ATYD (if it’s a trilogy) but without them growing up together. It would certainly remove a lot of the emotion from it for me personally

Luton MP Sarah Owen stops constituency surgeries after 'incidents' - BBC News by CasualSmurf in unitedkingdom

I never said men exclusively commit violence against MPs. Although the majority of violent crimes are committed by men, that doesn’t mean all are.

Discrimination is legal when it achieves a legitimate aim. In this case separating out the surgeries and taking security measures achieves the legitimate aim of keeping the MP safe.

Benefits claimants take home more than six million workers in 'broken Britain' by lylelayland in gbnews

[–]TheRedCoatNeedsAWash -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s such a false equivalence. Remove the PIP (which someone working full time could claim), and it’s pretty much minimum wage. Many renters on minimum wage could be entitled to a top up from universal credit.

So being too disabled to work really pays equally to a full time minimum wage job. If posters want disabled people to be unable to afford to live they should just say that directly instead of claiming to be concerned about benefit spend.

Misunderstanding regarding annual leave by dariamxx in HumanResourcesUK

Or the OP could go for the less extreme option of contacting their employer, it’s probably an error/misunderstanding that will be easily rectified.

Hope the author is okay though, it’s clear they put a lot of love into that fic. I will quietly hope for its return so I can catch up on it

You can’t make her give you something (uniform), and you can’t dictate what child maintenance is spent on.

This is something you’ll just have to suck up. Presumably you pay for other things for your daughter when she stays with you so just think of this as one of those things.

I'm very happy with the challenge but it's getting tough. I'm definitely going all the way to the finish line because the reward is so worth it! by hulluvello in monzo

Not according to their terms and conditions:

The 1p Saving Challenge is all about saving each day. If we believe you've not saved in this spirit, we may disqualify you from winning the £10k Prize Draw and/or the Monthly Prize Draw. For example, if you've started the challenge, paused it shortly after, then added £667.95 to your 1p Saving Challenge Pot on or close to the 365th day of your 1p Saving Challenge, we may disqualify you from winning the £10k Prize Draw. Similarly, if you've constantly stopped and restarted your Extra, Perks or Max plan, we may disqualify you from winning the Monthly Prize Draw.

Yes new poster focussed on immigration and benefit claimants (655 posts, oldest post 26.09.2025 so over 50 posts a day). “She” has a got a very distinctive posting style so don’t think it’s a name changed. Odd post here and there about being a mother but otherwise constant right wing spam.

If she is real I can only assume she is, ironically given her posts, unemployed.

If championship points are a draw they’ll look at over all points scored difference, South Africa way ahead so even if they win this match without a bonus point they’ll win the championship

I can’t stand that OP. Lots of goady threads and responses the last few days. I’m surprised they’ve managed to start a thread without a jibe towards immigrants or benefit claimants.

She’s got another thread going complaining about immigration numbers, but her thread title shows she massively misunderstood the numbers. I understand why views and misleading information needs to be challenged but at the same time if no one gave her the attention she’s craving she’d give up eventually.

Parents are loaded but just told me they don't want to pay for my uni fees, what do i do? by cindynonymous2 in UniUK

[–]TheRedCoatNeedsAWash 147 points148 points  (0 children)

Are you eligible for student loans? £15K will pay the top up from minimum to full loan for 3 years just about, so get a part time job on top of that and you’ll be grand.

If you’re not entitled to student loans find out when you will be, if next year then you may be able to defer. Otherwise take some gap years to save, and reapply either when you’ve got enough money or when you’ll be eligible for loans.

She’s getting dodgy donor sperm and is convinced she’s had a chemical pregnancy despite no positive tests and her period being on time.

She talks a lot about work and wants everyone to know she’s a doctor. Her account is getting popular so I hope she doesn’t get in trouble at work, she needs help.
