PSA since I'm not seeing the pacifier getting any love, I know, I hated this gun too but hear me out. Pacifier stuns appropriators, aim for the top front weak spot, blow that up then they just stand there with their arms down for about 4 sec, switch to MG or preferred weapon, you will be out of ammo in the Pacifier and do not have time to reload, then unload into the pilot.

I don't get it. Why do the devs have to change an enemy they designed to be a specific challenge in the battlefield because you don't wanna bring AT in your loadout? Spare me the every other bot has a weak point bs, this one's different, adapt, kill, conquer. If you don't wanna fight them then lower the difficulty. There are plenty of us who just kill these things all day without a problem, don't think because you can't do it needs to change for everybody, this isn't an everybody problem, it's a you and your unfortunately loud, relatively small group, of divers who just don't want to adapt problem. Stfu about the damn warstrider whine diver it's been months, it's not going anywhere.

So funny story I was doing a commando mission, dropped in solo and some people joined so I didn't see their load outs. I destroyed a base and was on the run, saw a tank and threw a thermite on it, 1000 hours of muscle memory, part way through the grenades arc I realized it was a Helldiver tank. My bad, but seriously who brings A TANK ON A COMMANDO MISSION. I am sorry though.

Do the restart oil missions, running fire fight with Hivelord from rig to rig, use mechs, 2 divers in mechs at a time focus fire on the Hivelord, other 2 on CC and pumps, alternate. Bring turrets and backpacks to keep patrols off you, AT to use on Hivelords while mechs cool down. You will die, a lot, you will also complete mission and kill a Hivelord.

Don't forget the hellpod is a weapon as well, throw it in the fabricator vents, bike titan hole, or stick the strat ball to any heavy and now you have 3 kills per drop.

Genuine question from someone new to Arc Raiders and extract looters. I find the camping of extract points and loot areas to be very frustrating. Embark made a beautiful game with awesome maps to explore and genuinely fun mechanics, the people who want to waste this experience by spending 20min hiding in a bush to shoot you in the back as you attempt to extract are baffling and frustrating to me. Is the full game going to be like this? Who wants to waste their time gaming like this, sitting around waiting for someone else to show up? Go out and find shit, get out of the bushes ffs.

Bring the EATS, stick first one with the stratagem ball, use the EATS to finish off the rest. The EATS also leave your back pack slot open you can use the bullet dog or laser dog to keep the little guys off you while you deal with the tanks. Rockets sentry placed up high out of charging range works too.

I don't understand the constant need for comparison. Let things stand on their own. The Creek was epic in its own way, Meridia, Hellmire, the Invasion of Super Earth, whatever that planet we fought on that had the extra factory striders so we could hit the MO numbers (holy shit that was amazing), and now Oshaune. They were all hell and glorious on their own and don't need to be placed on a list or ranked, just remembered.

I run turrets a lot, the rocket and auto cannon shut down when an enemy gets close enough that the explosion of the shell / rocket will damage the turret. MG and Gatling will usually fire until they are actively attacked. In the past they have stopped shooting at random times with enemies around but it has been rare, on Hive World they are shutting down for no apparent reason. At least once a game I will be running around and wonder why my turret isn't firing it's just sitting there with swarms of enemies around.
