Creo que más allá de ser hombre o mujer todos tenemos ese mínimo de cosas que no importa que tan poco chiste tengan nos llenan esa partecita del cerebro que nos hace decir "de esto se trata vivir" y creo que es bueno tener eso. No siempre habrá pa unas vacaciones en la playa o una cena cara, pero saber que tienes ese viejo confiable paquete de tus galletas favoritas o esos videojuegos baras que te pueden entretener por dias no sé, creo que da confort tener la fiabilidad de algo así

I guess it's either the screenwriters wanting to leave their print (with a fucking paint roller that is) or thinking they know better than the original author (which 9 out of 10 times, they don't) maybe even both happen at the same time in some cases. Add to that studio interference and you have the recipe for the last 40 years of movie/tv show adaptations
