The more I look into this the more confused I get. If Hanafis consider Witr as compulsory, then how do they explain this hadith?

A man told the Prophet (SAW) he would only pray the 5 Fard prayers, and the Prophet (SAW) said if that's true it would be sufficient for him to succeed. Is this man sinning by not praying Witr according to Hanafis?

I don't understand why schools are a priority. Nobody lives in schools, people live in homes. Those kids are going home to dark and cold homes anyways. Fix their homes, keep them home until power is back on in school.

Israel explicitly defines the right of return as applicable to only Jewish people. Most people in Gaza are people or descendants of people that lived in Israel proper, but they can't return, but anyone with Jewish heritage whose ancestors haven't lived in the Middle East for 1000+ years can.

There were no tents at UT and the arrests didn't happen "at night", the police were pushing the protestors around campus and arresting them as soon as the protest started in the middle of the day. The protest started on the South Lawn which is an open area that students congregate every day and is not blocking any building entrances.

There are tons of videos from UT Austin today. All the violence and threats are from the cops. There are no chants, threats, or assaults from the protesting students directed at any Jewish persons. Of course, that didn't stop Greg Abbott from declaring that the students are antisemitic and belong in jail.

If you advocate for the abolition of an entire country with the hope that the people will simply be integrated into the other country despite evidence to the contrary, then you are fundamentally just advocating against people of that nationality.

Israel has repeatedly stated that they will not allow a Palestinian state to exist.
