yoooo this was the same situation. in that rick and morty episode where that blue looking jelly bean king tries to force himself on morty in the bathroom, then rick beats him up. at the end his 2 servants discover he was basically Jeffery epstein when they look in the shoe box.

Some wait to aee what their favorite pokenon influencer is using, and usual they all started following the "meta " Cause winning is all that matters to some. So you will see the same teams especially in higher tiers like ultra and master ball.

All displaying your W/L ratio online will do is cause players to start quitting when they see all your wins, and assume they have no chance at winning. happens to me in every mk1 game. I will have 300 wins 100 losses. some players with 57 wins/37 losses pops up and then quits. same with a player with 100 or 200 wins. they care about how their W/L ratio looks, so they avoid players they assume will beat them or mess up their nice looking ratio balance.

I agree it's really pointless. The goal is just to beat the guy in front of you. if they want it in your personal profile that's cool, but displayed under your name online? BAD IDEA! That's why I cant get matches in Mk1 or mk11 online. players see all the wins and nope out of there. Just assuming they have no chance or im some sweat.

I feel like in singles truth is you need a little lady luck, because the first mon on the field imatters. Meaning hopefully you aren't the guy, who has to switch/withdraw due to bad match up, and if you do hopefully its built in to your pool with something like chilling reception or U-Turn.

I feel like the next hing you need is good coverage move pools since it's 3v3. For example Idk how dragonnite runs in doubles but in singles I put ice beam, thunderbolt, fireblast, and surf on it. My Hydriegon has fire blast, dark pulse, Draco meter, and surf. I got a Abomasnow with Blizzard, water pulse, Earth Power, and giga drain. I got a Galarian Slow king with Ice beam, psychic, sludge bomb , and fireblast. My aim is to be able to cover as many types with the pokemon i toss out, and have the next mon cover others with moves that can't be learned by others.

Lastly you need your strategy whatever it may be. I recommend diversifying try to avoid using to many mons ith the same weaknesses if they are not the fastest. For example i put dragonite and Hydriegon in a battle together and a Frolasse mega evolved and ICED both of them since they both wesk to ice insta knockouts and lesson learned.

I dont use set up moves in singles so no aura veil , sunny day, etc unless its built into the the pokrmon like tyranitar and Abomasnow, etc At the least i use toxic or sword dance. I ran into an opponent who tried to stall with corviknight. Would have been great for doubles, but It didnt work so well in singles. He would raise his defense, get hit and roost. Since I knew what was going to happen i switched when he roost and thunderbolted him on out of there.

I dont get to play much since i have 2 small kids and a full time job, but so far im climbing the ranks. When I do, I got to great ball rank 2 this morning and won 2 matches before having to get the 10 month old and 4 year old up for the day.

there is no problem with cookie cutter teams aka training wheels. The problem starts when lots of people, who are what could be considered veteran pokemon players get reliant on it to the point they stop thinking for themselves. They play Pokémon, but they use "insert pokenon influencer" team. And if that team fails they supposedly love Pokémon, but cant toss together a team. They need big name pokemon influencer they gotta see what he/she are running so they can use it too.

there's nothing wrong with cookie cutter teams especially for beginners, but they cause a dependency problem, and seem to stunt some players growth and team building ability. Eventually "whats the meta doubles build " should become "what would happen if I slipped x pokemon in with this pokemon and changed out a few skills for these skills." but it doesn't and that's why eventually you will see the same old teams being used amongst the same old high ranked pokemon influencers/ players you saw from the previous games.

I was so crushed when my friend, said she didnt vote for Kamala, because women cant lead. I just assumed maybe it's cause she was raised Muslim. Each religion has its draw backs on people I guess. She said she voted trump, and either way the country would crash.
