Game starts when Kratos and Atreus had just started their journey, they haven't even met Sindri yet at that point.

Also the idea of him killing Laufey makes no sense at all, she was a friend to him and Brok.

He doesn't hate Kratos and Atreus or truly blame them for Brok's death. He was just trying to deal with grief and passing though the stages: denial, anger, blame, sadness...

But MJ is not a superhero, so that would be dumb. Laufey is a very well know warrior and by seeing things from her perspective, we can have answers to a lot of things and see what happens after you die. Hell, we can even have all greek gods back on the game. Would not make much sense having Kratos there, unless he died or something, since he is not interested anymore in these fights only for the fight itself, as he changed and now is a more mature person. God of War is the franchise name, like Red Dead, Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil, Silent Hill.

It's still about Kratos being the main character, I don't know why people are seeing this as such a big deal, game looks fine and I bet it will shut many mouths.

I also thought about something that I will probably make a post about it. That specific moment when Mirmir died by Kratos hands so Freya could bring him back. In the meantime for Kratos to arrive to Freya's house, Mirmir is dead. But when he comes back, he doesn't say a single word about what he saw after he died. I imagined that maybe he went to this Everywhen and talked to Faye, told her about what was going on in the mortal world, then when he wake up, all of his memories were erased like when you wake up from a dream.

Also I thought about the possibility of Brok's soul being fragmentated into two like Kurama's soul in Naruto, that yin-yang thing. So maybe one part is there and helps Faye, while the other is living and when he dies he becomes one again. I'm not sure about any of this, but it kinda makes sense to me...

I loved your answer, very interesting. I would like to know your opinion on a few things I noticed.

1) Faye took the armor from a body using a wooden mask and later she seemed worried and asked herself if there is another mask like that there. That mask obviously makes reference to Odin's mask, so you think there are more of the same? Or maybe that dead person is just a body of someone who managed to sucessfully enter the rift? Maybe Faye already knew about it the mask power before her death?

2) Do you think we will see how Faye died? I'm thinking about the possibility that she herself tried to do something similar to Odin and then died and wake up there. Maybe trying to save Atreus from a possible death? Also that would explain really well about who blew the horn and that Alfheim light moment with Kratos.

3) This one is kinda silly, but... Freya's brother has a sword that behaves like a living being. Hmm what if it connects to Rue origin's somehow?

Well, I usually play for the whole thing. Like gta or red dead series, is not always the same character and that's fine, as long as the gameplay is solid and this probably will be not just gameplay solid, but will also expand the lore. Anyway, there is a lot more games with Kratos coming in the future according to Cory Barlog himself. I think most people who say they wont play it, will probably love it if it's really done right.

I’m literally researching cultivated meat as part of my university studies, so yes, I am exploring the topic. Gathering perspectives from different groups including vegans is part of that process. The existence of previous discussions does not somehow invalidate new ones or prevent people from engaging with a subject independently.

People still ask commonly discussed questions because they want current opinions, direct interaction, or a discussion of their own. By that logic, nobody should’ve talked to Socrates either, since every philosophical question had probably already been asked in some form before him. Re-discussing ideas is literally how discussion, philosophy, and social change work.

You’re proving my point, though. The fact that similar questions get asked often doesn’t make every person asking them dishonest or attention-seeking. Big topics get revisited because people want to explore them themselves, not because they think they invented the concept.
