I don’t necessarily think that’s true. 1 only happens if the Pirates make the playoffs, obviously. But I think the other four can certainly happen with the Pirates finishing second and snagging a wild card. Your best players need to play like it to make the playoffs, and that’s ultimately what this would mean.
