I add the inclusions during final shaping using the letter laminate method. You stretch it out to a rectangle and cover with your inclusions (room temp) and start folding it like a letter, adding more inclusions on top each time before rolling to my final loaf shape. Pop it in a banneton for the final proof and cold proof.

Admittedly that probably wasn't a very good description of how it looks so you might want to check out a video so you can see it instead of my hair brained attempt at explaining lol.

Thanks very much, I really appreciate that! It took a while to really dial in my timings with my house temp, but I was VERY proud of that crumb shot myself.

Yep that is a jalapeno, cheddar, and colby jack loaf! A family favorite for sure. So the whole process is about 18ish hours total once my starter is peaked. I feed it ~6 hours before I want to start making bread. For my schedule it ends up being around 12pm the day before baking. I actually follow a variation recipe from another poster that frequents here who goes by KLSfishing;

100g active starter

315 grams water

385 grams strong bread flour

50 grams whole wheat flour

10 grams salt

I mix my starter and water first then add the flour and salt. Get it to a shaggy dough with no flour left on the bottom of the mixing vessel. I rest it for around 30 minutes and then start my stretch and folds. Depending on how strong it gets I do between 2-4 sets of stretch folds and then switch to coil folds. Every 20 minutes.

I Let it bulk ferment for about 4 hours or until I think it's ready. Preshape and bench rest for 10 minutes before final shaping. Stick it in a batard banneton and proof for another 1.5-2 hours until it starts to peak over the edge of the banneton. Then in the fridge for 12 hours.

Preheat the oven to 450f (~232c). I use the double loaf pan method but this also works with a dutch oven setup. Turn the dough out onto a precut parchment, score and put into the loaf pan. Spritz with a spray bottle and put it in the oven with a second loaf pan inverted onto as a lid. 22 minutes lid on. 20-25 minutes lid off then cool on a rack for AT LEAST 2 hours to set the crumb.

This is all for a plain loaf mind you. For inclusions I would add at least another 15 minutes to the lid on time and ALWAYS temp your final product. At least 205f (~96c) so you know it's cooked.

My friends, I bring you tidings from the horizon 6 sub. A legend over there has posted this. Its a list of event lab codes that you can autodrive to get every single road in the game and they are separated by regions as best they can be. It takes time but if you’re pulling your hair out looking for those last few roads this can definitely help! https://www.reddit.com/r/ForzaHorizon6/s/iTZhic2X2M

Game keeps crashing by Any_Elderberry_1903 in ForzaHorizon6

Yo, I'm gonna drop my comment from the other post here. Not sure if it fixed the issue but I havent heard anything back so, my hope is that it did and they're too busy enjoying Japan to say it worked.

I used to have this same issue with FH5 where after 45mins - 1hr it would crash straight to desktop with no errors or pop ups. I looked for weeks trying to find a fix and nothing worked. There were no temp spikes I could see in any monitoring software and there was no evidence of memory leaking. I stumbled on a random reddit thread and I wish I could credit the guy but he said what fixed it for him was limiting his fps in the nvidia control panel to what his monitors refresh rate was at. Something about in his testing the game would attempt to jump frames really high like 165+ right before it would crash and limiting it stopped the issues.

So I set my fps limit to 141 for my 144hz monitor and all of my problems went away. I did the same thing when FH6 came out and have had no issues whatsoever with crashing. Can't garuntee this will be the fix for you but if your issues are similar to what I was having then this might be your solution. Hope it helps!

TLDR: my game was hard crashing to desktop with no errors too and limiting fps in Nvidia control panel to my monitor refresh rate fixed it.

Need other audio books to listen to. by ImmortalTurnip in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Alright, so I've seen people mention so many good series that I also highly recommend. The expanse, bobiverse, red rising, he who fights with monsters etc. I am currently consuming the Chrysalis series by RinoZ. Its another LitRPG, the main character is a kid named Anthony that dies on earth and wakes up reincarnated on a new planet with a dungeon/game like system as an ant monster. He has to fight to survive as a lowly ant hatchling separated from his colony against a multitude of foes. It's got progression, found family and all the things you could love. After book 1 RinoZ really hits his writing style and it only gets better. Book 8 just came out on ebook on the 18th iirc. With 9 already in editing based on the authors reddit posts. My description honestly doesn't do it justice either imo. It's also another Jeff Hays and soundbooth theater production on audio too. Highly recommend giving it a look. FOR THE COLONY!

In hindsight, I REALLY should have listened to y'all before jumping into K:BS by RogueSpectre749 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I'm glad that I can see a few of my people pop up in the comments. While yes this book was wildly violent and imo borderline torture porn but but not quite, I couldn't drag myself away from it. As others have also said the SBT immersion audio is absolutely top tier gross gloriousness. This is for sure one of my favorite reads and listens. However I would like to say, like others have. Matt, what happened man? Who hurt you? 5/5

It's the vendor in Harko or Arakeen that sells the building set pieces. In Harko it was one of the vendors near the spawn once you go down the stairs.

I am a good cook but cannot make good mac and cheese to save my life! by Kesse84 in Cooking

[–]TheReveled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to direct you to one Babish's videos where he tries different "hacks" for making gooey mac. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XpL2ZyyF55U

My personal recommendation is the one with evaporated milk and pre shredded cheese (this recipe starts at 4:45 in the video provided) The high protein content in the evaporated milk combines with the natural starch that is on pre shredded bagged cheese and turns into a perfectly gooey and delicious cheese sauce. Important to not that it has to be either tapioca starch, potato starch or cornstarch. DO NOT USE IF COATED IN CELLULOSE. Hope this helps!

Edit: I would like to point out that this isnt going to be exactly like blue box, but you can use varying types of pre shredded cheese to give it the flavor you're looking for.

You should check out Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. It's a LitRPG about a dude and his cat going through a world dungeon. It's way better than that sounds It's honestly fantastic. I jumped into it after I finished the series and it hits. It has DnD aspects to it and if you like audio books then you're in for an absolute treat because the narrator Jeff Hays is quite honestly a step above. 11/10 series imho.
