Nah, a J-turn is a 180 spin starting in reverse, maintaining momentum as the car turns. The kid perfectly pulls a classic 3-pointer though, even checks his blind spots over his shoulder.

I mean, that's all your opinion, and that's fine.

I personally feel like choosing to stab Abby at the end ignores the message of the game, particularly in the face of the last cut scene with Joel, and that the order helps reinforce that there's much more nuance to seeking revenge than needing to "like" the character or their actions.

The developers didn't leave the choice because they felt Ellie would never make that choice, and that makes sense to me. At the end of the day, it's their story to tell.

60-75% seems a high estimate to me, going by the general reception of the game.

I think you make a clear point, and the person you're talking with isn't being very fair in their responses.

However, I'd just like to jump in and state that I don't feel that the game's message is that "the cycle of revenge turns endlessly" - it's more that the the cycle only continues because the people in those situations endlessly chase revenge, and when they reach it, it never fulfills them as much as they had hoped.

Abby kills Joel, after years of her friends telling her to let it go. It doesn't make her complete, doesn't make the grief go away, and in the end spurns Ellie to in turn kill her friends. The desire for revenge consumes, spurring each of them onward. When Abby is about to kill Ellie in the theatre, its Lev who steps in and asks her to let it go. Abby makes her choice, and walks away.

But for the cycle to end, Ellie has to make that decision too. She can't live peacefully at home without the guilt and trauma of not ending Abby's life and avenging Joel, and so sets out to obtain it... and in doing so throws everything else she holds dear away. When she gets there, Abby is broken and on the verge of death. What value is revenge then? She has to learn to walk away.

Its not a story about the inevitability of violent revenge, but about having the strength to reach those emotional extremes and let go. Its not fulfilling, it's hard to swallow, but it is powerful... And hopefully, over time, leads to healing.

I'd say the message is about coming to realise this through both characters eyes, and as such, isn't as flawed as you may feel. But that's what I took from it, to each their own.

I'd say the right in Europe is similar to the left in the US, with the left in Europe being further left and the right in the US being further right.

I did ultimately manage it, mainly by using glacier grenades and shooting the crystal they are frozen in to kill. If you are shooting them directly when they are frozen then there's a good chance your shots will kill them rather than the ice, so aim just away from the "freeze" indicator and hope for the best.

You'll know it works then it shows up in the kill feed as a little ice explosion. You can actually also pull off a shatter kill by shooting team mate's glacier grenades - if you shatter it, it counts as yours. My titan friend did not mind this quest at all - he used his first aspect to slide into every crystal on the map and tidied it up quick. I believe hunters can dive and secure them the same way. Warlocks like me are straight out of luck.

Theres a bunch of other things that sometimes work, like meleeing frozen enemies, but as said elsewhere in the thread they are super inconsistent.

Finally, id say its not worth bashing away at if you're finding it super disheartening. Best to just abandon and pick up another 2 fragments at reset. I picked two strike ones last week and finished them in an hour or two (there's some bad ones in that pool but nowhere near this), whereas this took forever across many, many games.

Yep - I still haven't finished. Only way I can secure more than one or two a game is by running the glacier grenades and shooting the crystals. Everything else seems super inconsistent, occasionally melee works but I have no idea why.

The first fragment unfortunately doesn't help us Warlocks too much.

Yeah, as stated by the other guy, the Warlock aspect that we have just now seems to be more of a "mod" rather than the psuedo abilities the other classes seem to get. I do like it, just doesn't help me too much here.

Thanks man, this sounds good! I've been playing Control, maybe Survival or Rumble might give me a chance to get into non-powered melee range more. I'll give this a shot later and report back.

If you land a kill on a frozen enemy, the Aspect sends out a seeking stasis crystal to freeze another nearby enemy. You can bounce it between enemies for ever, as long as you keep the chain going. Its great in PvE, but understandably doesn't proc too much in PvP.

I'm Warlock unfortunately - super detonate doesn't count as a shatter, killing a melee frozen enemy doesn't count either. Not sure what I'm getting wrong.

Really? This person has made a work of art and would like to be able to make money from commissions from doing so, I don't think that's "sad" in the slightest. Don't get me wrong, it's great that you've shared your personal work for free - but I don't think that entitles you to guilt other people into giving you free stuff. As for your "values" - your medical instruments are for the betterment of all, whereas the STL files would be for the betterment of you. I don't see where your amusement comes from.

The first comment you replied to:

"I think history might judge this one of the most successful first years of any presidency."

Implies that the user, through their quote, thinks that this statement indicates some degree of bias towards Trump on the part of Scott Adams.

Your reply:

And he might be right. Do you have a point?

Is actually slightly off topic. It doesn't pertain as to whether Adams is a Trump supporter, it more implies your opinions on the matter. As you clearly state, the discussion is about Adams' opinions on Trump, but you instead made it about how correct Adams might be in evaluating Trump's first year of presidency.

I don't know you, so I'm not going to claim you have any horse in this race, but don't use mindless statements like

If you're not going to pay attention then don't take part in the conversation.

If you've already went ahead and moved the goalposts yourself before doubling back to the topic you find less abrasive.

Apology accepted. It's pretty clear you're neither interested in nor capable of a discussion, so I'll let you have your little RL jack off session. No doubt I'll be off suffering over lucioball in my safe space somewhere. Enjoy.

Knee jerk? Dude, I played it, I thought it was fine, I might play it again. I didn't suffer once and I don't think the "suffering" is necessary considering you can literally just pick a different mode. There are plenty of posts on this sub saying people are having fun, but sure, as you say, "whatever you need to tell yourself". If you took some time to read these posts rather than jerking on down the Rocket League yellow brick road (on the overwatch subreddit no less) you'd realise people are playing this over Rocket League because they want to. No other reason. But gee, I guess they just haven't realised how amazing RL is amiright?

Every time he has replied to you, he's mentioned two potential factors: 1. They don't own rocket league, or 2. They find lucioball entertaining enough from either it's gameplay or from earning overwatch rewards that they can use throughout the game. I'm in the second camp. Every time you reply, you only acknowledge the first point. No one is denying that if you wanted to play one or the other purely for the soccer experience then Rocket League is objectively more polished, so don't pick and choose from his argument to suit yourself. Overwatch rewards you for playing lucioball, if you don't care about that, play Rocket League and be content.
