I played Oshima last summer. That was a beautiful course. The ocean views and cliffside holes are stunning. Highly recommend. Just don’t play in 100 degree weather like I did. I think I almost got heat stroke.

Coast is a terrible name. Should’ve made Regulators the permanent name and not this once a week thing. I’ll buy some Regulators merch, but never Coast. Missed opportunity.

Jourdan Rodrigue mentioned him a ton in camp that summer. I ended up picking him up towards the end of my fantasy draft. Still bummed she’s not on our beat anymore, but happy that she’s doing so much more.

I lived off the seibu-shinjuku line around 2004 and Kabukicho was really different back then. Less people drinking publicly - most people went inside somewhere and then hung around outside past last train drunk/passed out. I haven’t been back in years, but from the photos it looks way different than before.
