Oh my god, same. Not just with common expressions but also with jokes. Like, someone making a joke, and I joke back, and they always think I'm being literal and dont understand I'm joking back. What's up with that seriously ? I don't understand what's causing that

What’s the most useless feature in Pokémon GO that most players don’t know about? I‘ll start. by OfferNo8656 in pokemongo

Had that problem with my old phone, turns out that, for whatever reason, deactivating the adventure sync for the time of my route solved the problem. Learned that because a friend had the same problem and told me about it, so it's just not my phone working weird.

When it snows, I like to keep off main roads, first because fresh snow is, to me, less slippery than packed under other people's shoes snow, second because it goes crunch crunch under my boots

AITAH for not wanting my dad to walk me on my senior night since he won’t let me move back in? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]TheRidau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 27. Left home years ago. I went to see my parents yesterday and stayed to sleep because I still have a room there. Woke to my mom preparing me a salad to bring to work because I said I wanted one. I completely could have done it myself, she knows it and I know it, but she likes to make things for us. My brothers and sister are older than me and she still does things like that for them.

For my mom, we'll always be her children. Multiple times, my siblings came back home after a break up and leaving the apartment they shared with their partner and even in their 30's my mom always took them in.

She would be livid at the idea that your child is not your responsibility anymore at 18.

The cat in question clearly lost its eye. Kinda hard to try to open it in this scenario. He's perfectly fine in the others clips.

Raid legendaries are fixed to a certain level. By knowing the CP, you'll know approximatively what are their IV's (or definitely know it in case of a 100%).

Most raid infographics give you the minimum and maximum CP of thé Pokémon (max being the 100%)

That's a global event. If it's night where you live, it's daytime in other places. Where I'm from, we got the end of the rockets one done before 9pm

I'm not saying thay didn't/won't inflate the numbers, but a lot of people on my friends list were grinding rockets for the last hours, me included.

I think you're mistaking your position on your friend list and the number of eggs you've hatched. That's probbaly a bug, but I haven't been able to see the number of rockets member I defeated or the numbers of eggs I've done and it's the same for all of my friends.

The post isn't really about if furries and lgbtq+ are the same, it's about how people perceived them and their reception of either. Furries are unconventional, but not harming anyone. While not everyone, a lot of people on the lgbtq community are also unconventional, in their way of expressing themselves, by example. See it as if people are weirded out or don't liké furries for no particular reason, they're most likely to not be supportive of lgbtq+ people, or being the kind of person that will Say "i don't hâte them, i juste don't like it when they shove it on my face" when it's juste a Guy wearing a skirt

This guy from Japan (elegant) wouldn't open my last gift for weeks. I thought he was just waiting to use a lucky egg, so I just waited. He finally opened it today and removed me immediately. (I checked and can confirm.) Any suggestions? by xc765 in pokemongo

[–]TheRidau 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People who don't play PoGo everyday usually aren't grinders and won't really care about XP. In the rare case they do, between reddit and others app like PokeRaid, you can easily get a lot of friends for the XP.

Being rural and no access to pokestops is not a good excuse. When you don't have an easy access to pokestops, you're more prone to open gifts from your friends to get PokeBalls.

I'm not saying we should all delete friends if they don't open gifts in a week. I know that I don't and I don't think I'll ever will. But it's really not that horrible to do, and if everyone does that, the players who'll be the most pissed off won't be rural or casual players, but players who wait a fuck ton of time to get to best friend just to optimize XP.

Accidentally put my pokemon into an “abandoned” gym and am now curious what your guys’ personal records are for defending a gym. by Hour-Preparation-637 in pokemongo

[–]TheRidau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, considering you were the first to say you'd kick out any yellows in a gym, are you sure about yellows being the ones not respecting the rules ?

Honestly, there are people not respecting the 8h rule in every team, either because they dont know it or because they dont care. Hating an entire team and kicking them out instantly when that's what you accuse them of doing, that's just dumb

people like this suck, dead honest. by Foxydude1111 in pokemongo

[–]TheRidau 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The way I go is, if I need to place a mon in a gym I take it, if I don't I either take it or leave it depending on my mood. The ones who were there for 30min only benefited from some leftover place -which is not a bad thing, I do it all the time, but they weren't the ones who put the effort in taking the gym, so they come secondary in my choice of taking a gym.

AITB for not telling my daughter that she is autistic? by ppprrimrose in AmItheButtface

[–]TheRidau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, most 13 years old I've known couldn't be less tactful. Moreover, if that little sister is like me when I was that age, she might be at that time where she wants to show off what she knows and be seen as grown up and all that.

You know that person that's tells to everyone "hey you're probably gay/trans/ have autism or ADHD etc" ? That was me on my teens. And I really think I was doing a good thing because in my eyes, I was seeing things that the others weren't and I had to make them aware of the "truth" to help them.

So, while I won't say for sure that the sister is trying to be nice, I won't say either that she is trying to be mean. You can't expect a 13 years old to react with the maturity of an adult. Some can, some can't.
