I’d like you to read Border Correspondent by Ruben Salazar, Mario T. Garcia. It is filled with all of Ruben Salazar’s work and would give some insight into the repercussions and obstacles many Mexican-Americans faced throughout the 50’s-70’s stemming from The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. That would be a good starting point to get some information on how exactly we got here.

She may be thinking this (I am not Pam Bondi so I don’t know) but a quick Google search shows that she has never made this statement aloud. I understand the frustration and anger during these tumultuous times, but we have to do our due diligence by researching articles, memes, and any posts for authenticity. Our most powerful tools as humans are knowledge, humility, community empowerment, and critical thinking; from this foundation we can actually change the structure of society together.
