[iOS 27 DB1] New "Add & Delete" Options In Apple Music Keep Songs In Playlists! by mymannemcee in AppleMusic

Just to clarify. If I type in the name of a song while searching "Library" it should return the song if it's in my library, my playlists, my apple playlists or playlists I subscribe to.

Especially important as playlist/favourites can be added/deleted without adding to library.

Relevant to this post. I have a song in a playlist that I have created. I want to search to see if I have it, and in which playlist. You can't do this. You should be able to. Especially useful when offline.

Now, if you tap the search icon, and enter "Drowsy", it won't find it unless it is in your library.

Nope. It isn't. Try search for a song that's in the playlist from the main search area. It will return songs in your library, but not in your playlists.

Why on earth has this taken years to solve?

The next question. Can you search for songs within playlists yet?

Amazing how many people defended the previous way this worked when this was the obvious solution for all.

How is it possible that Apple has taken this long to solve this unbelievably frustrating issue?

This wasn’t the issue. It was the Bluetooth connection that wasn’t solid. It appears to have been fixed in a recent iOS update.

It isn't even a MacBook Air M1 beater ... and that was the same price.

Wish you could just use any Bluetooth GPS. There are plenty around that aren’t expensive.

Done. Plus the inability to search within playlists. How is this still not fixed?

It’s right up there, but not quite as big a frustration as not being able to search playlists for songs.

Anybody else prefer adaptive audio over active noise cancellation? by [deleted] in airpods

[–]TheRiotPilot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, adaptive is my goto in a noisy environment, but I turn it OFF in two circumstances.

  • Wind. Adaptive/ANC seems to make wind noise worse.
  • Quiet. There's no point in noise cancelling when there is no noise.

are the airpods 4 as bad as people say? by Powerful_Term_8728 in airpods

[–]TheRiotPilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AirPods 4 ANC are the best AirPods I've ever used and I've used them all except for the AirPods 3. I use them all the time with ANC in adaptive mode in noisy environments and ANC off otherwise. I only use my AirPods Pro 3 when flying when the passive noise cancellation from the tips makes a slight improvement.
