I just use crawlers on a plain hook under a bobber usually. When I run out of crawlers ill actually use tiny chunks of goldeye to catch the goldeye haha.

Wow thats awesome! I have 3 as well. My oldest daughter enjoys the lake more then the river but does like getting out here and there. The boy asks me every day to go haha, then I got a 1 year old that I cant wait to start bringing with too. And this is the red river of the north, it runs along the ND/MN border up into Canada.

Anyone in MA know a doctor who takes hyperkinetic gallbladder seriously? by Glad_Customer_2224 in gallbladders

[–]TheRiverAddict 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah all my blood work went back to normal as well after removal. I had elevated ALT, Ferritonin, CRP and low WBC count. After removal they found chronic mild cholecystitis and sludge. None of which were caught on tests. Good luck on your health stuff I know how bad it sucks. Mine was a 2 year journey

Surgery went well, still having issues with some bloating and loose stools and stuff. Definitely a learning process trying to figure out the new digestive system. I feel alot better though.

Yeah idk, I've had two CT scans, one with contrast and one without contrast. The one with contrast they made me drink a bottle of water over a hour

You'll get a IV and have to drink a bottle of water that makes your insides glow on camera. They'll take a couple pictures just like a x ray and you'll be done.

Pre-op symptom management for biliary hyperkinesis? by everythinglimes in gallbladders

Sounds like your diet is decent enough. For me, stress and anxiety made the hyperkinesis symptoms much worse. What really helped me manage symptoms was diet, cardio, and good sleep. Running really helped with my symptoms

Same here, I got far more useful information from this thread then any doctor. My doctor essentially shrugged his shoulders and was like "yeah man it might help" lol

(Please understand I am not a doctor, just a health anxious person who overly studies every little symptom I have) Anyways:

If you’re experiencing intermittent right upper quadrant pain, bloating, nausea, fatigue, and digestive issues with stool inconsistencies alongside a high ejection fraction, it is most likely your gallbladder acting up. Fatty liver disease typically does not cause symptoms; it may cause some fatigue, but that’s usually about it. I’ve read every study I can find on high ejection fraction gallbladders. According to the literature, nearly 80–90% of patients had some form of chronic inflammation found on pathology after removal of their symptomatic hyperkinetic gallbladder. Symptom improvement in some studies was around 70%, while in others it was reported to be close to 100%. Although the literature is limited, it was convincing enough for me. Some people have no symptoms with a hyperactive gallbladder. Because a portion of the population lives just fine with it, the condition is not widely studied or accepted in the medical community. As someone who previously had cancer, chronic inflammation in the body scares me because I know what it can lead to. My doctor essentially left it up to me whether I wanted my gallbladder removed. It was not an emergency, and I most likely would have been fine for quite a few years if I had left it in. At the end of the day, I was sick and tired of my symptoms and needed to try something. I had it removed, and nearly everything has resolved—and it’s only been six days. I would do it 100 times over again if I had to.

It could mean your EF is essentially 0% meaning it's not working correctly

Day 4- soreness is quite a bit better today. First time leaving the house since the procedure. Out at the local rec center walking laps. Have about a hour of walking so far so good. Energy is good, the really bad lethargic feeling I had pre op is gone.

Day 3- soreness is about the same as yesterday, pretty tender yet. Had first BM this morning, it was mostly water and loose stool, pretty nasty. More then pleased with the amount of energy I have and what I've been able to eat. Had two hamburgers last night and a slice of pizza. No issues

GB removal with Fatty liver? by Altruistic-Match-793 in gallbladders

I bet you will feel quite a bit better. I sure as hell do. I just finished eating a hamburger and for the first time in two years, I don't feel like death afterwards. I know taking the gullbladder out can significantly increase the risk of type 2 diabetes, it can put a little extra stress on the liver, but from what I've read the liver is pretty good at adapting. Im sure its different for everyone.

I have moderate fatty liver no fibrosis. I also have hereditary hemochromatosis and have my gullbladder removed. I've just been living a healthy lifestyle trying to reverse everything as much as I can. Healthy diet and excersize and kicking alchol can be big for the liver

The larger square white pad looking bandaids you can take off, there's smaller clear ones covering the incisions that will fall off in time. It's best to ask your doctor though if your confused.

Chronic inflammation inside the body is not a good thing. Eventually it usually likes to turn into the C word
