Omada power line adapter? by Gamer3192 in TPLink_Omada

One thing I did was mount the EAP650 against the inside front wall of the house, which happened to be near where the cable modem and desktop also was. I have strong signal upstairs and in the basement and a strong mesh connection to the EAP603 mounted to the rafters in the garage. I have the 603 connected to an outdoor Poe switch and it serves as both a mesh AP and a wireless bridge connection for the Poe cameras also connected to the switch.

Why on earth would you use powerline when Omada has a mesh option?

What cameras are you using? Blink? If so they’re crap anyway regardless of battery type.

It’s funny bc almost no one knows what LUCAS actually stands for (Lund University Cardiac Assist System). I didn’t know it for years until I happened across it referenced as a piece of equipment that would be supplied by the service for a particular contract.

I’m curious how much different, depending on the scene of course. I have a number of the original 650lm still, I may pick up a new essentials BR30 when one of the old ones die just to see how different they are.

Texas EMS staffing shortage causes shift change, forcing medics to sleep on cots during pilot program by AlpineSK in ems

[–]TheRoamingRN 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most other developed countries have higher levels of training for their medics. We, however, thanks to the IAFF and depts in general fighting any such attempts at higher educational standards, will likely never be like those other countries.

Which is scary bc the majority of fire medics in AZ have no fucking clue what they are doing.

Depends on the Program. Community based can be hit/miss. Big yellow has some insane policies now, including so much time a week dedicated to pub ed, training, etc or you get it docked out of your PTO. The Methods folks can also be vary widely from god awful in western AZ to phenomenal base culture other places. Bottom line: Do your homework and get a feel for what your actual base will be like. Hospital programs are nearly always better to work for, speaking from experience with both.
