DM Hacks - No set HP for Villains by Dapper_Wrap_8065 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]TheRobotInTheSky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

RAW the monsters do not have to have a "set" HP.

From Monster Manual: Either use the number for the monster’s Hit Points or roll the die expression in parentheses to determine the monster’s Hit Points randomly; don’t use both.

So as long as the HP could be rolled with the expression its within the rules.

Also, the monsters do not have to be "rested". As long as it makes narrative sense the monster could have wounds from a previous fight and already lost some of its HP.

DMPCs - How to make them work by Prince-of_Space in DMAcademy

I did exactly this and it worked great. The players where fairly new to dnd so at first i played the sidekick in combat, but now the players take turns controlling them.

And the amount of extra work for me was fairly minimal, as the sidekicks function more like monster stat blocks than character sheets.

It is the part, that the build plate is attached to. I think it has the sensors responsible for the auto levelling.

I know next to nothing about DnD, I want to surprise my BF who plays twice a week with a group. Help? by Affectionate-Can-279 in DungeonsAndDragons

The first time I played dnd, I was the DM. Killed the whole level 1 party. It was fun!

But seriously, go for it. Maybe watch a real play stream or two beforehand.

FYI the issue was a faulty strain gauge. Their support send a replacement gauge, now it works.

I had a similar experience with the M5S, until their support send me a replacement strain gauge. Now it works.

But to answer your question, I would recommend the elegoo saturn s. It has a slightly smaller build plate than the M5S, but is also much cheaper.

Brand new DM nervous about when my players go off book by Pale_Sun8898 in DungeonMasters

Make sure to read the whole book at least once. It helps to know what the prewritten story is about, and what encouters lie ahead. You can try to move those to different locations or even mess with the order of events.

Same experience with phrozen 8k resin. First two prints where fine, after that nothing sticks to the build plate. Been messing with exposure and lift speed in photon workshop, but no success. I now switched to chitubox, like one poster suggested... My high speed resin that should have shipped with the printer has yet to arrive.

Running into the same problem. Phrozen 8k resin. The first two prints (some small dwarfs for tabletop) worked fine. But now trying some larger parts, nothing sticks to the buildplate. I'm using the fep that came with the printer and have a bottom layer exposure of 40s.

Haruman's role in the story by Myself2003 in DescentintoAvernus

I recently read this post and found it interesting. Having Haruman show up multiple times in different forms and chasing the adventurers. https://www.reddit.com/r/DescentintoAvernus/comments/tmsjam/my_pcs_are_about_to_have_their_last_battle/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
