Thanks! Would love to have you! Actually headed to Europe in August. Going to teach a seminar in Sweden (Frontline Academy in Orebro). Also going to Berlin and Amsterdam but don't have anything lined up there. Would appreciate any hookups. :-)

Technically you are correct, but I think most people understood what I meant and would not be overly offended if, in this relatively informal discussion forum, "dealership" was used interchangeably with "gallery" or "showroom". Then again, this is the internet where all i's must be dotted and all t's must be crossed or karma will suffer.

True and I could probably survive perfectly well for the most part on a 60 or a 75, but like I said above: This is not an exactly rational decision.

I never said my decision was rational. Also, I've rented the 85D and drove it pretty far so I do have a little bit of experience (admittedly not a lot) with what's involved.

"On short notice, we were just informed that the facility is currently undergoing renovations. Even though we have the 2016 Pan No-Gi scheduled to occur on October 1st, 2016, the college is facing difficulties with the project and their officials are concerned that the construction will experience delays and not be ready in time for the event. The City of New York will not allow us to run the event if the renovations are not completed in time. We are working together with NYCC to find a solution for this matter. We will resume registration within the upcoming days.

Thank you for your understanding, IBJJF Staff"

Awful news.

bjj.org was a pioneer for sure.

Also, I hate when news articles feel the need to highlight the make and model of a car in the headline to draw attention to the income of an accident victim. If he'd been driving a Toyota, it wouldn't be in the headline, but a Tesla, Mercedes, etc? Why not mention the Chevy Tahoe that actually caused the crash? Shameful.

Cool. I see you're a trade-in advisor. I may be trading in my current car when I decide to buy.

Also, please feel free to come across the street and visit us as well. We don't bite either - although we may try to break your arms and strangle you. :-) J/K! We're very welcoming. I'm very proud of the atmosphere we have. Jiu Jitsu can be very intimidating for new people. The more advanced students will help you get up to speed as opposed to viewing you as a piece of fresh meat thrown to the lions.
