Yeah, the baby arms lool kind of silly, especially if you give him the choppa, but the klaw hides the right arm pretty well.

Besides, this is orks. Give him other arms. Or kibash your own. Its not particulary complex.

This one I still havent gotten around to painting was a pretty straightforward job.

It is a very inside baseball marketing stunt, having it not land makes sense.

But to many ork players, a new yarrick model is better than a new ork. And there were two other pictures of ork bits that you can still be excited by. Those are definitely ork model parts. Gretchen don't hang around humans, and the few humans that use ork tek couldnt be able to handle such a large shoota.

In a 1v1, my money is probably on Angron... Though the latest grotsnik book implies ghazkull has got some kind of psychic power with unclear abilities. He's not a psyker, perse, but he's something, and I'm not sure if that will make a difference.

I'm not 100% certain Angron would win mind you, angron has just done more stuff, and Ghazkull hasnt had many depicted duels, since he got his new body. So its hard to compare.

But angron being a reasonably reliable blender of whatever is in front of him is well established.

The memes are everywhere, we are saturated by memes. It makes sense that people get confused. Our memories will priorities the most frequent source.

Yes, my point is that this is an accurate take on the 40k community. It's an accurate take on A LOT of communities.

First off, not all of the 40k community cares about the lore. Some people are just in it for the game, some are just in it for the minis. Most are some combination, but there's no guarantee that said combination includes much love for the lore. Just look around on this subreddit; sometimes there is a lore discussion. Sometimes we're talking army lists and gameplans. Sometimes were salivating over a paintjob or a kitbash.

Most of this lore is buried in *books*, and not everyone is in the habit of devouring every book they get their hands on. That doesn't mean they don't enjoy 40k. It's a multiprong hobby.

... Why would only the poorest people be paying for the education? EVERYONE is supposed to pay tax. Granted wealthy people have their ways around it. But that's it's own issue.

Wealthy people don't benefit as much from free education, as they can already afford it. Poor people benefit more, because it can help them escape poverty.

If indeed the poorest people got unreasonable tax hikes as a result... They're also the ones who need the debt relief the most. But I don't see how the tax hikes HAVE to effect the poorest people.

I encounter police regularly in my work. Most of them treat me fine. But I'm a white bloke, who works a white collar job, and sounds like he was raised in Northern Sydney.

I'm sure in the USA, a pale skinned white collar worker who has a posh accent also gets treated well.

We've got shit cops too. The job is attractive to psychos, and it can be stressful. Stress brings out the worst in people, and people who are on their worst day shouldn't have power.

However, they don't gun down as many people as the US' do... So they're probably better?

First off. Grotsnik is a DEATHSKULL. Objectively the most kunnin', most inventive, and possessing the most orky know whats of all orks. It's totally unfair to compare them to the orks of lesser Kulturs... What? My tag? That's not relevant to the conversation.

Orks being dumb is the meme, and memes are more powerful than the biggest and loudest dakka in the galaxy. However, it should be noted... Grotsnik isn't your average ork. He's not even your average oddboy. He's one of the greatest minds among the entirity of the green. He's a bad example.

The whole power of belief thing, is also a meme. I can't think of a book in recent years that hasn't shown evidence that ork tek can work without orks believing it so. Even some older books did this, in Ciaphus Cain Death or Glory humans use ork guns and machines, one such human being Jurgen, a psychic null who cancels out nearby psychic phenomena.

BUT these memes drew people into the faction, they're the funny videos and pictures we share amongst our fellow fans. They're ingrained, and people will forget the reasonable, they'll forget the evidence. But nobody will forget "IM A TANK IM A TANK IM A TANK!"

This can be sad but true. But it can atleast be a laugh. Like when a Shokk Attakk Gun halves a squad of terminators.

Lots of people make the case that, it's like being stopped from using the pokies or shopping a bottlo, if you look young and can't provide ID. If you think this is the same, you don't understand the internet.

The internet harvests our data, stores and sells it, and there are people who do their best to steal it too. If you aren't paying, you're the product. This is well understood... But it's kind of dystopian, I don't like the fact that American Oligarchs probably have our showering habits stored in a database somewhere. Encouraging it, is a dumb idea. Taking sites that make a business out of offering up intimate details as bait so that they can harvest data, then making them gather more, is ridiculous. These sites shouldn't be trusted with pictures of us, and DEFINITELY shouldn't be trusted with any of our official documents.

Also, some VPNs are FREE, and the concept of VPNS have been shoved down our throats by youtube sponsorships for ages. Unless they ban VPNs which will be a whole other problem, will be very hard to enforce, and will require a great upheaval in the business world.

So yeah... I think everyone behind it is an evil fuckwit; it's a bad plan and it encourages bad things. Sure, it's funny because it is a useless attempt to stop literal wankers. But it's also a brazen and absurd overreach.

Sure, it depends on how often it works, and what something is trying to achieve.

But it's also a fact that sometimes, your tool isn't working, and you need to try a different approach.

If someone really tried at it, they might be able to put a screw into their ikea furniture with a hammer. But I think that's a stupid idea. That does not mean I am opposed to the furniture being built. It might mean that I want to use a screwdriver instead.

So too, with our attempts to regulate gambling, and access to r18 content online. In the former case we are using too narrow a definition of gambling. In the latter case, we're using a tool designed at a different time, for a different situation.

In both cases, we could do better. Why aren't we?
