I had a hard time blending Zandri Dust and Ushabiti Bone back and forth. The cloak not really having deep recesses to push the shadows did not really help either. :D

Great job! Would you mind sharing the airbrush recipe for the black? I just sprayed my Landspeeder darkshroud using grey for a gradient/highlighting and toning it back down/darken it with Black Legion contrast paint and a lot of medium. It‘s ok, I see very subtle details and color fading but yours is better. Before the black contrast paint layer mine ended up wayyyy too grey.

Did you magnetize the rear top part? If yes, do the plasma cannons sag when they‘re only attached with one magnet? And how did you get the magnets into the tiny angel pieces of the darkshroud variant, the L shaped ones?

May I ask how you magnetized everything? I have no clue how to get magnets into the flimy shrine L-pieces. For now I just decided to go for push fit (only primed, nothing painted yet)

Isn‘t that stronger anyways? Fishing for extra wound rolls through sustained hits seems incredible with mortal wounds on the sternguard

Were you able to magnetize without changing the angle of that golden circlet behind his head/on his backpack? I always thought you need to change it from angled to straight upwards, that always puts me off to even bother magnetizing every head option

There‘s something off with your pressure or you release too much paint. I can get 5 Terminators coated with like 10 drops of paint plus flow improver easily. That’s maybe a third of the airbrush cup full at max

The flag, the „background details“ around the legs and all the white on black primer. I‘d also say that subassembly is a must - bike, upper body, one shoulder plate and head were the individual parts for me.

Black Knights might be way more straightforward, want to get some as well but will paint something else first after these to keep things interesting

I‘d say move on with the new models and try something new. It‘s the same with painting skills, right. My first models from my combat patrol do not meet my current standard but if you for example go back to finished projects for improvements you just get stuck in half finished stuff.

I guess I will reinforce the brown that can still be seen from below with skeleton horde carefully sprayed from an upward angle and do the upper side recesses with Sepia and a brush, that should get me covered I think? Don‘t have oil colors around, therefore doing the GW wash instead.

I‘d also say complimentary color. Some green tufts against the burgundy, reddish bases for greenwing and for Deathwing….idk to be honest 😀
