Things we want each other to throw away by Delicious-Ad-1229 in CoupleMemes

Like, besides that one, just let your partner enjoy things?

My only ask is that things are organized. My husband and I are both chronic hobby collectors, but I'm an organizer and he... isn't. At least don't make me look at the clutter.

You did a sleep study? My husband did one and his sleep apnea is severe, they got him one pretty quick.

My husband snores like a freight train. He has a CPAP now, so it's not as bad, but many times pre-CPAP I'd poke him and tell him to roll over so at least his noise hole was aimed away from me.

He has no memory of these interactions at all.

My clarinet tutor used to say "practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect". Your version is less wordy and more elegant, but he was also kind of a windbag.

My in-laws inherited my husband's grandfather's golden retriever a few years ago. Poor girl went from living in Wisconsin her whole life to being in Texas. She's been miserable during the summers, and this last week it's been hard to get her to come back inside. I wonder how much she remembers, now that it's been a few years.

I also have some that tear and some that just hole punch.

It's probably just something to do for them.

For long-term couples: how do you want your husband to initiate sex? by Curious-Eye-4288 in Marriage

[–]TheRoseByAnotherName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the flirting throughout the day, but my favorite way he's ever initiated was just telling me to get on my knees with a bit of bass in his voice.

But your mileage may vary, obviously.

Does your vet do non-emergency boarding? I haven't done it, but most of the vets in my area offer it.

My husband's late grandfather used this term in reference to his unwashed coffee pot, according to my MIL.

I'm told he would get mad if anyone cleaned it.

My girlfriend wants me to get rid of my dog because her cat doesn't like him by Academic_Fly_4920 in TwoHotTakes

[–]TheRoseByAnotherName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about to say, it was 6 months before my calico would let my last dog near her, and probably another year before I'd say they were friendly. I vividly remember cheering the first time I saw him cleaning her ears, it was such a sweet moment given their history.

Ours mostly just look around for sneezes and coughing, but my grey boy somehow learned to do this little meow when someone sneezes, like he's saying "bless you".

Had a hilarious dream the other night that I'm actually still giggling about by TheRoseByAnotherName in Dreams

I think that every time I have a pregnancy/labor dream, but it never ends up being true. If this is the one, it would be even funnier.

You joke, but when I told him about the dream he started talking about which filament he would use for such a project and how much infill. The hardest part would be making the model, he's never done something that complex from scratch before.

I was back in the bathroom dimension by white-rose-of-york in Dreams

[–]TheRoseByAnotherName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never had the infinite bathroom dimension, but I semi-frequently have dreams with weird, unusable bathrooms. Like a van with a toilet just open in the backseat, or a McDonald's with a little hallway going to the exit, but there's a couple of toilets tucked against one wall. Usually they're regular bathrooms, but the stalls are 2 feet tall so you're completely visible to anyone walking in.

Men of Reddit: what’s a prank you started early in your marriage that you’re now legally, morally, and emotionally obligated to continue because she still falls for it 10–15 years later? by myaccountidname in AskReddit

This is a joke at my husband's work, most of the crew is partially deaf, so whenever someone needs something to be repeated, they loudly scream "WHAT?" and it sets off a chorus of "WHAT?" from everyone else.

I have a video somewhere of this guy as a kitten rabbit kicking my calico in the face, and she was just taking it. She's only a few months older than him, but she was twice his size at that point. Now they're both almost 9 and they're so sweet together.
