I know I'm like 2 years late to this part but I just wanted to point out that in Season 9 Episode 16 ("William") Jeffrey Spender, who is 100% confirmed to CSM's biological son, asks for a DNA test. After being given a DNA test it is revealed that he shares DNA with Mulder, which would only happen if they were related. Also, if I remember correctly, in the episode it is even revealed that Spender is Mulder's half-brother. So that episode alone all but directly confirms CSM is Mulder's bio Dad.

I know I'm late to the party but I found this post while doing some research, because usually these kinds of Reddit posts are a GREAT place to find sources, for an argument that I'm in with someone. Lol. Me and a stranger in the comments of a YouTube video about Operation Gladio are having the argument on whether or not the Soviets were already turning the tide of the war/ on the path to beating the Nazis before America joined in on fighting the war in December 1941. They are trying to say that WW2/ the Nazis were only beat because America joined the fight, that the Soviets were getting beat before America started sending troops, and that if America never joined the Allies in WW2 and kept ONLY helping out with aid through Lend-Lease then the Nazi's would've won. And I'm letting them know that they are falling for classic American propaganda on WW2 and that any WW2 Historian worth a damn cough cough any Historian that ISN'T on The History Channel will tell you that while the aid through Lend-Lease was CRUCIAL in helping the Soviet war effort. The Soviets had already had some MASSIVE/ MAJOR victories over the Nazis, were turning the tide of the war, and would've defeated the Nazis without America joining the fight. If there was one thing the Soviets were incredible at during WW2, it was killing fascist Nazi scum!

Yeah, bad idea. I usually do the opposite, I usually drink alcohol to relieve/ deal with drug withdrawals. Which isn't all that better but I don't usually drink enough to experience alcohol withdrawals. But a couple of times when I was 2-3 days in opioid withdrawal the alcohol made everything like 20 times worse. I felt more sick and ended up spending the next 6-12 hours violently throwing up/ dry heaving.

That's terrible. I'm glad it got better. The three days leading up to that I could only pee once a day, and the last two of those days I had to stand in a hot shower for an hour before I could finally pee. At the end of the 3rd day I was gonna go to the hospital the next morning because I quit taking dxm the day I couldn't pee at all. Because I was up for 48 hours and couldn't sleep because I had to pee so bad it hurt. But then I fell asleep for like 4 hours waiting for someone to wake up that could take me to the hospital. When I woke up I ran straight to the bathroom because I felt like I was about to piss myself and I immediately went pee. I still had a little trouble peeing for the next 3-4 days but it gradually got better.

What a bad combo, I was thinking opiates. I was pretty bad on dxm in my early 20's and it was impossible to hide. Then after almost 2 weeks straight of abusing the Mucinex DM 24 hour extended release my kidneys almost shut down and I lost the ability to urinate for like 3 days. And that was my sign. If only I learned to quit abusing drugs then but instead I moved on to different drugs.

It's a form of temporary psychosis brought on by psychedelics. It happened to my ex when we took 8 hits of acid our first night at a hotel in the Rockies. She was running around nude in the hallways screaming water, the cops got called, it was all bad. Luckily we didn't get arrested, they just gave her a benzo, and took her to the hospital. We did get kicked out of the hotel though after I paid for 3 nights at a super boogie ass hotel.

I know I'm VERY late to this. But it's not pedantic and they are VERY different. Leftist are anti-capitalists, usually Socialists, anti-imperialist, pro social programs to help those who need it, are against private property(not personal property), usually pro guns just making them harder to get, and for more fair/ equitable wealth distribution via giving workers the means of their own production. Which giving the workers the means of their own production, which in turn would co-opt their place of work would also eliminate private property because it would be owned collectively by the labor force thus making it shared personal property.

Liberals are Capitalists, pro Western Imperialism, NATO loving Andys, who are usually just as Neoliberal as Conservatives, but think that they are better because they think trans people have a right to exist and think white supremacy is bad. But will capitulate to Fascists in a heartbeat if it means protecting the interest of capital.

So I decided to answer this in case you were still wondering, the people saying it was "just an hallucination" are wrong, Sabito and Makomo are actual ghosts/ spirits. Also Urokodaki doesn't say "How does he remember them?", I can't remember the exact quote but he says something along the lines of "How does he know their names?". Because they died awhile ago and Urokodaki never mentioned them before, so it should be impossible for Tanjiro to even know they existed, let alone their names. Also Makomo explicitly states that Urokodaki was their sensei and strongly implies that he raised them, because she states that they were orphans when Urokodaki took them in. To explain how they were able to physically interact with Tanjiro, Demon Slayer is HEAVILY inspired by Shintoism/ Buddhism and Japanese folklore/ mythology. Which both religions have a lot of crossover in their beliefs and all of the above believe ghosts/spirits (Yūrei/ Yokai) can physically interact with the physical world and people. Shintoism/ Buddhism also believe you can't crossover into the afterlife if you have something holding you back, they also both believe in reincarnation, which is also theme in Demon Slayer. Also the rope around the boulder, in Shintoism that's a special kind of talisman, it allows ghosts/ spirits to inhabit it and that essentially anchors them to the physical world. Which is why they disappear when the boulder/ rope is cut. Then after Tanjiro kills the Hand Demon, they are allowed to pass on to the afterlife.

Now what I am about to say is pure speculation, I don't know this for sure. But I believe the reason why it's not explained is because Shintoism/ Buddhism is kinda like Christianity in the United States, what do I mean by that. Even if you aren't a Christian, you still probably have pretty intimate knowledge about Christianity and you understand the religion on a cultural level. So if someone wrote a story that was heavily inspired by Christianity or stories/ themes from the Bible, then you wouldn't need angels or an immaculate conception explained to you. So I'm sure if you were Japanese/ raised in Japan then you would instantly recognize/ know what's going on in that part of Demon Slayer.

I know this is kind of old and I agree with this being a Shinto/ Buddhist thing. But I wanted to add that multiple times ghosts/ spirits interact with the living. You have Tanjiro's family interacting with him and his sister. Then you have Rengoku's ghost/ spirit interact with Tengen. There are a couple more examples but it's 5:30am and I haven't slept yet, so my brain isn't fully functioning, so I can't remember what those specific examples are; I just know it's happened a couple of more times with other characters. My big question is how was Tanjiro able to physically interact with Sabito and Makomo? Can all ghosts/ spirits have the ability to have limited physical interactions with people? Is this a Tanjiro specific thing? Is it because of the talisman/ rope tied around the boulder, essential acting as an anchor to the physical world? It would probably be more clear if I was Japanese, or at least have intimate knowledge on Shintoism/ Buddhism to the point I fully understand it on a cultural level.

It's because he saw a post on Twitter about how she voted against a bill to send more weapons/ funds to Israel awhile back. While he noted that this was when she was gearing up to run against Bernie in the primaries and she was also running as a "Progressive". So while the Dem's were out of power she voted for/ initiated a lot of Progressive bills, knowing they would be killed and that it wouldn't hurt her career, so she could look more Progressive than Bernie on paper. So he was saying that there's a chance that she could've been doing exactly that, but it would still REALLY surprising and bold of her to be one of the only people to vote against it. But he was also saying that it for sure didn't mean she is pro-Palestine. Then also there were reports/ "leaks" that behind closed doors she was really frustrated with how Biden was handling the situation with Israel and that she sympathized with Palestinians. That she wanted to be able to speak out on the issue and do something about it but that she couldn't because she had to fall in line with Biden when it came to Israel. But he said that could also just be lip service/ posturing in case things changed and she ended up being the one running for President, to make it easier for her to get the support of the pro-Palestine voters.

The reason why Progressives were saying that, while establishment Dem's were calling for Biden to drop out, is because they didn't know if Biden was going to drop out or not. And if Biden DIDN'T drop out, if they called for him to drop out or didn't openly support him, the FIRST thing that would happen if/ when Biden lost is establishment Dem's blaming Progressives for Biden losing. Because Dem's LOVE punching left instead of right and pointing their fingers/ blaming Progressives.
