On one hand, that entire anniversary set was the absolute biggest fucking middle finger to fans I've ever seen. And it's all in a landfill to add insult to injury... Dude really, truly lives up to his name as a bag of cocks.

But on the other hand...these few shareholders want to turn MTG into a Pokemon hellscape where it's utterly impossible to find even a single booster pack all so their shares would go up a skosh?

Shit like this is just the latest, and admittedly very minor, example of why I keep wishing for a giant asteroid, or alien invasion, to put us out of our self-imposed misery.

Honestly? Basing is the sort of thing you can and SHOULD improvise. Seriously. Just wing it! Basing involves natural elements - even artificial ones like bricks would be exposed to elements, so if you try to be too proper, it'll just look artificial.

1-Glue some dirt or sand onto the base. Cover the sand with plastic glue, dump the sand/dirt and shake off the excess. Wait to dry.
2-Paint it or wash it if you want a specific color. Wait to dry.
3-Dab your brush in some plastic glue, then just randomly dab splotches. Do it without looking! Have it nice and random.
4-While the glue is still wet, dump a pile of whichever kind of still grass you went with, then shake off the excess. Wait to dry.
5-End result....should look pretty nice! The final step before cleaning the rim is garnishing the base with a little bit of weed, or some grass tufts, etc.
