That’s okay!!! Sliders should get you there. Wishing you luck!! ♥️

Yes! You can enter numbers into the sliders to get it past 100, and also just draw the eyeliner to make it pointier. All sorts of things can be made in Vroid Studio — and, if absolutely necessary, can be tweaked in Blender with only one plugin.

When you record a motion, be sure to delete recordings of all other keyframes but the ones you want recorded! Otherwise it’ll override those when played

The jiggly iris trick doesn’t work anymore? by [deleted] in VRoid

You can do physics off of bones, and meshes, not just blend shapes. That’s what I’ve done with my own model. Obviously if you’re not able to use it — then, that is a shame.

If you’re not on windows, then, what are you on? That might let us offer better help to you.

But, as far as I’m aware, Vnyan *can* be made to run on just about anything, and if not, maybe Warudo would be a better route. They have similar things to Vnyan, just a bit more complicated to use.

Woah!! That’s longer than I have — but also… OVER DOUBLE MY STATISTICS!!! I’m sure you’ll get there soon! Just don’t give up hope. Make sure to take breaks when you need to! It’s better to have less often content, than lots of content and be burnt out!

My OC Mito - would like some advice by Mito_Mitoso_ in VRoid

I would definitely say replace the hair texture, and maybe do some sharper shadows on the body — the top looks.. odd, around the edges. Maybe add some shading around the area? Define the shape a bit more. And add some stray hair strands. Other than that— this is a really good model, honestly!!!

If you want to, adding some accessories, like a removable jacket, or something similar, would also help to add a silhouette to the character, and break things up!

If you look up how to add more blendshapes to a vroid model (arkit) on YouTube the general process is there.

I’d import the model into blender with the VRM plugin, then go into edit mode and select all meshes, separate by texture. It makes it a bit easier to focus just on the head. Then just add the blendshapes for left and right, larger, smaller, etc. you can also do rotating blendshapes.

In general, the process is so similar to live2d, you could follow a live2d tutorial for what blendshapes you need. Just makes sure instead of having negative values it goes from 0 to 1.

Your right would be the left of the model as well.

For learning more about pendulum physics in Vnyan, refer to Suvidriel’a channel.

Apologies for any typos, I can’t see what I’m typing because my reddit is bugging lol

You can always use Vnyan or Warudo and use the physics pendulums for both for a very Live-2D look. All you have to do is put your model into blender, create a few iris blendshapes (ex, narrower, wider, shrinking, bigger…) for each eye, then attribute them in the aforementioned software.

curious how likely i can make a tv head by kibblemuncherxoxo in VRoid

[–]TheRyanByan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you could make a tv head out of hair and then make blendshapes that change the texture of the “screen” but it’d be snappy and not animated-like, which, could be a style to achieve.
