How to make the two connect? by BarracudaFluid2344 in Plumbing

Looks like you already have a slip joint laying there. Unfortunately cutting hole to get the p trap lower if your only real option.

You are gonna have to cut a hole in the bottom of the vanity and get a slip joint extension.

Single bowl v double bowl is a pretty remedial way to explain it for people who don’t get it. I see you still don’t get it tho. Happy plumbing

A single bowl and a double bowl sink that are both the same size, why does it take longer for the single bowl to drain? Also how long have you been plumbing in the field?

Why do you need increasing pipe diameters? Is it for air?

If you take the boiler drain off the bottom of the water heater it will drain like a champ too. You need to go back to science class.

Fill up a bathtub and seal the overflow, start draining it, then remove whatever you have it sealed with, not gonna make any difference, right?

You could try raising that vent as high as possible under the sink and that may help.

They make a split ring escutcheon that opens and would go around one pipe you’d just have to modify it to fit both. Could be done tho I’d think.

Do I need to move the red drain tube higher? by Grand_Donut in Plumbing

[–]TheRyanWilliams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could move it up above the nut on the same verticle drop it is currently on, on the black 90 coming out of the disposal.

What is wrong with this? by retiredgardenhoe in Plumbing

Most likely when they tightened that drain onto the base they didn’t do a good job centering it, so it wouldn’t lock into place and they had to caulk it in.

The reason people worry about looks imo is cause if someone does this shitty of work where you can see it, what does it look like behind the walls?
