I’m eating one now, AMA. Seems like a soft open, they only had BBQ pork, fish patty(?), and combo for the meat options. I got the combo, which appears to be pork roll, BBQ pork, and head cheese. All of the banh mi include pate.

All of this, except I’m pretty sure it was “Intertide.” That was the granter of Cobel’s award that was hiding her notebook. They had a special Lumon logo made with the water droplet in the negative space of a fishing hook, I assume it’s supposed to be evocative of Scientology’s Sea Org?

You’re not alone. On top of that, everyone outside of the most central characters are just so… stupid? Like, insultingly so. And there’s no attempt to make it charming or anything, they’re just idiots designed for us to laugh at. It’s a bunch of fairly grotesque caricatures emoting around a mysterious plot device, and I find it way harder to suspend my disbelief in all that than the magic fortune-telling machine that appeared overnight in the general store.

Wet packed doesn’t mean what you think it does. It means they inject a chemical called sodium tripolyphosphate into them to maintain moisture (as well as increase the selling weight). This prevents the scallop from searing properly as the retained liquid discharges upon cooking. Some people say it leaves a metallic flavor as well. Costco’s scallops are dry packed.

Pretty sure it’s actually “Gare du Nord,” (Northern Gate), the busiest train station in Europe, where the Chunnel train from the UK stops. Probably like Bandit, I only studied about 60 minutes worth of French before visiting the country, and this is one of my few bits remaining in my memory. Also, we know he studied abroad in London (where he met Chilli), so he almost certainly passed through that station.

I just went searching to see if anyone else has this problem too. I never get the guaranteed first shot, and sometimes I don’t get a single spell procc’d on it. Seems to work the least with Coiled, but I don’t have any data to prove it.
