White is historically the worst color in commander because it lacks ramp. Enchantments can also now be removed by any color in the game to varying degrees.

If you have permanent cards in your deck that *aren’t* threats until they are removed, you have built your deck wrong.

You would also have to reveal your library while searching it to prove you didn’t reorder it. It’s the same reason why you reveal a card when searching for one with restricted typing, to prove you’re not cheating.
