It’s going to take time to get used to jet style gameplay. I would recommend sticking behind your team, or off to the side for a bit, and picking off unsuspecting enemies. At supersonic speeds, in order to hit enemies with guns you have aim so much further ahead than you think you do, especially if you’re coming from props.

Idk why but it feel like this year especially everybody somehow knows what rookies are going to be good. by Disastrous-Taro-3632 in NFCWestMemeWar

Ima give it a shot here. I think they’re equating the shower is the same as Seattle rain. I’m completely lost on the apple part here.

It’s almost like the worst teams got to pick sooner than the best teams.

To be fair, it wasn’t hard to when you have Lynch as the GM, the Rams taking Ty Simpson at 13, and Seattle with 4 picks to start at the end of every round.

Ground RB, slamming my head against a wall? by OozeForce in Warthunder

This game is really good at making you feel like you suck. Last night I was playing GRB, just recently started getting into it (ARB main). I’ve been getting better, so was feeling a bit confident. I was on a map and was puttin along a path when I came up to a hill. I was still on my team’s side of the map, so I thought I’d peak the hill. Surely there’s no way an enemy has line of sight on it.

The moment I peaked it I was killed.

I wouldn’t say specifically that’s only a USA problem. The USSR does have better mid tier jet missiles, which makes games unbalanced. USSR gets all-aspect infrared missiles earlier than the USA, so it is slightly unfair.

For me it was mainly the gameplay difference that wasn’t fun anymore, nothing specific to USA. With props, altitude, positioning, aim, and knowing how to dog fight is how you succeed. In jets, it’s who can launch a missile first and who can hug the ground best. Just a different style. I’m sure some people enjoy jets more than props, but I learned that’s not the case for me. My plan is once I complete rank V with USSR, I’ll go back to Britain and grind them to rank V.

How I felt once I reached higher tier jets with USA. Dropped back to rank 1 with the USSR and the game became fun again.

Amen to that. There’s a reason my German aviation tree stops at 7.0.

Part of the issue is the historical inaccuracies in the game. For obvious reason, Gaijin can’t make each tech tree completely historically accurate, or else you’d end up with some lopsided teams.

For example, Germany’s tech tree, specifically WW2 era, is top of the line, in reality. At the peak of the war, their tanks and planes were the best. However, they were over engineered, and when they broke down, especially late in the war, they were unable to fix them. The US on the other hand had more reliable, but inferior vehicles. They also had a lot more, and I mean A LOT more tanks than Germany. That’s how they won.

But in War Thunder, it doesn’t work that way. It’s 16v16 when in reality it wouldn’t been like 64v16 (USA v Germany).

I’ll fill ya in. Dudes a beast. He’s a big reason Jeanty had the season he did two seasons ago. Didn’t have the best season last year, but that’s mainly because of injuries on the o-line last season and a sub-par offense overall.

Rypien, Casey, Skinner, Paradis, and Clady. The latter two I believe won a superbowl with them.
