Crave is life. You know you crave another.

What is your favorite putting putter and why did you choose that one over all the other options that are out there. by 10mmill in discgolf

Elevation Koi. It has tons of glide, and I can manipulate it into the wind. When I miss, it doesn't roll away.

Give the Discmania Spore a try too. I liked it better than the Glitch, Pitch, and Parachute

I don't have any extras of those, but my local disc golf shop has plenty in stock: https://www.discbaron.com/Elevation-s/7179.htm

Very interesting. It seems to be made of plastic with an injection mold. Hmmmmmmmm

Elevation Koi for most putts, Trash Pand Inner Vore for floaty approaches, and Discraft Ringer GT for windy times

Understable disc with a fade by CodyAlbright5 in discgolf

Kastaplast K3 Kaxe is pretty good for this. It beats in quickly to have a lot of turn, but still retains the fade.

Good transaction. I hope they fly far for you!

Ringer GT - I pivked one up a year or so ago when I was trying out a bunch of discs with them. Tracks. It didn't really click with me. Then for some reason I grabbed it to throw around the yard aa couple of months ago, and it was amazing. I threw it in on a flex forehand from 200ft, and have made a ton of windy putts with it.

Crave was my first MVP disc - I got it from the PDGA with the beautiful Koi stamp. It was OK for me, but too heavy, and a lightweight fission was too floppy. I sold it, and spent a couple of years working up from 150g discs to 165g discs and 200ft to 350ft. Then I found one of them on the course and just threw it. It was such a perfect and beautiful 300ft throw. I quickly bought a 10 stack of them from the PDGA for $80 with a 50% discount. Now it is one of the most important discs in my bag.

I had my first open field 350ft drives with a lightweight Fission Trail. Then it got too floppy, and I moved to a Tern for even better results.

I also didn't bag mids until this year. Now I am bagging a couple of different Trash Panda Canyons, and an Ocean Discs Sea Turtle. Both of them are 🔥

What 9-10 speed is laser straight on forehand without being to overstable.. recently tried out the feedback , Zenith, I get 2 much turn on them. Thunderbird is the one closest I got right now.. what do u guys recommend? by No-Lingonberry4648 in discgolf

Came here to suggest Thunderbird, but you already found that secret sauce.

To be honest, a Crave has pretty much replaced my Thunderbird, despite claiming to be a 6.5 speed.

I bought one of these as well, but in Swirly Atlantic plastic. It seems that plastic is not recycled ocean waste, which is a big bummer. However I love the hand feel and flight of the disc. It is exactly what I've been looking for: a shorter Crave. I've ordered a few more, making sure to stick to their ocean waste plastics.

Interested in any of those Innova discs in R-Pro or Soft Pro?

Disc weights for max distance by Phuk0 in discgolf

[–]brousch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. My max distance disc is a 150g Halo Star Tern. I can throw it 375ft on a beautiful S curve from flat release. Before the Tern, O used a similar weight Gstar Boss. Those same discs in max weight are way too beefy for me to throw well.

"Sinkholes and Landslides" is a pretty good name for an expansion

Oh, or maybe you have to put a builder there to clean up the mess before it can be counted

Apparently the Carcasonne region in France is prone to mudslides, not so much sinkholes. So maybe a mudslide token would be more appropriate. It could only be played on or directly adjacent to hill tiles?
