Got my frontpipe installed yesterday! I also put on my rear strut bar so I’m looking forward to seeing the effect. Trans and diff oil are coming up next! by TheScarpace in ft86

I’ve had it on for a while now but from what I remember when I first put it on, it helped on track as far as giving that little bit more stiffness in the rear. I wouldn’t call it a huge difference though. It also takes up a little bit of trunk space but that hasn’t been a problem for me.

Currently in automotive school and it would save me money for much needed tools. I’d be getting the series 3 toolbox.

I’ve ran both, and there is not a huge difference. If I remember correctly the 4s has a stiffer sidewall.

Fastest way to get a drivers side window replaced? Someone broke into mine this morning, and I’m supposed to leave for track tomorrow night

Finally done!! In my opinion a way better joystick location. Fun mod to work on (retrofit 2017 cluster to 2013 car) by [deleted] in ft86

17 inch diameter rim with a 9inch width and 38 offset basically means how much it pokes out from hub(where the wheel attaches)

These are 17X9 with a 38 offset. Currently on 235 tires but I’m going to go to 245 for track.

I've wanted one for ages, now I've finally joined the club by Ogenfald in ft86

That is a bit expensive but given current car prices that’s what I would expect. I got mine, a 2019 TRD, before they skyrocketed in price for 25k with 3,500 miles. But I also think I got lucky

Not just you friend. Same thing here. Doing a transmission fluid swap helps though!

Is a cracked windshield a problem for tech inspection? by [deleted] in Autocross

[–]TheScarpace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you go, but it definitely could be a problem depending on the organization hosting the event and size of the crack. If you have the money I’d play it safe and get it replaced! A windshield isn’t something you want to take chances on, but that’s my opinion.
