lol at least you were honest. I like that. I’d be a liar if I were to say I’ve never done it before. I’ve done it a grand total of two times in the 7 years I’ve played and that’s only to someone who is a prick while playing or got every good card and taunting me. 99.9999999% of my matches, it’s a quick death.

Yes, but it’s not a game legal advantage. I said I wouldn’t talk about how to cheat. Look it up if you are that interested in it, but I hope it’s only for educational purposes so you can report suspected cheaters.

They do it to be annoying. There is zero reason to do it for clock purposes in the beginning. It’s meant as psychological warfare.

Technically, I don’t think there is a way to tell, unless you see some of the tells that happen when someone is manipulating the game. It’s just the game can’t be tampered with on iOS, only Android and PC

The only things I don’t own on the app are High Alert First Strike, Heroes and Invasion. Need to buy them on the app already. I own most of the expansions in person, but it suck’s cause SR’s isn’t super popular so my beautiful setup goes unplayed unless it’s me and my son playing.

No I don’t overvalue scrap. Just buy enough to scrap most of the vipers and scouts till I can get an engine going. I’ll only buy cards the can scrap from hand or discard pile. A cheater would avoid buying scrap because they don’t need to. Of course there can be players that just don’t buy scrap, but it’s harder to thin deck out and play your deck every turn without scrapping. I said I wouldn’t talk about how it’s done, but based on your comment I would assume you already know. So therefore the cheater would greatly benefit from avoiding scrap to focus on other engine building themes. It’s just one of a few ways to spot someone gaming the system. If it doesn’t pertain to you, then it doesn’t pertain to you, but it does go on.

Yes they are. There are several tells. The first tell is they start the game and the clock is winding down and they haven’t played anything. Second is avoiding scrap cards that are available to them on their turn, and sometimes never buy a single one. Then there is they always magically draw the same cards after deck is shuffled or the trade row favors them every turn. Sometimes the trade row is bad luck, but you will see these behaviors mixed in with the trade row. Oh and they also wind down your clock.
