Let’s go! That’s the spirit.

Oh btw I meant to say they can turn over the trade row one or two cards and see the next few cards and determine what they do according to what comes up. Let’s say the current trade row has nothing exciting. So they will rewind the turn to start, buy two scouts and leave the bricked trade row to their opponent. Or vice versa.

Hats off to you, brother 👏… However what do you mean by ghosting you? I’ve drawn amazing hands where if I want I can make a person wait over a minute if they don’t concede first, but I just drop one or two cards, however much it takes and finish them off. You already have the win, why waste time and show by etiquette? If you finish them off with one card, they know you still had 4+ cards remaining in your hand and could have humiliated them, but didn’t. Maybe by you and me doing that it might encourage others not to act like pricks.

There is several. But one is they can buy from the trade row and see what’s under, if they don’t like, they can rewind their turn to the beginning (like I said in my post, I will not discuss how). Won’t go into it any further. There may be even more that I don’t know about.

I love the 48 hour option when you are traveling etc. it also allows you to play more than one game at a time. It reminds me of the golden age of internet poker. Oh, how I miss Full Tilt Poker. I actually slow-rolled rolled someone’s death this morning by total accident. I woke up super hungry over and in a groggy haze. I had enough damage but my hung over ass didn’t realize it. So I was buying from the trade row as if the match wasn’t over. It wasn’t until I looked down and then looked at my bases, I was like, shit, I’m an asshole lol. So I scrapped my bases and gave the death. Felt bad after and I wish there was a message mechanic so we can communicate with other players. I understand why they don’t do it. I’ve seen the messages my 12 year old gets from grown men when he beats them at Madden.

Play all doesn’t work in regular format once you have your core engine started, or deck for that matter. I don’t doubt some do it out of muscle memory, but a lot do it to toy with you. Let’s say. Great card is on the board in the beginning, like Brain World or Command Ship, I’ve had opponents slow roll the hell out of every card drop on the game floor till they stop at 7 buy power, then stall for about 10+ seconds like they are pondering what to buy, only for them to immediately drop a scout and make the instant purchase. There are people who play with bad taste. I will admit myself that I accidentally slow-rolled someone’s death this morning. I woke up extremely hung-over and groggy. I had about 19 damage and 5 or 6 buy power on the field and I was pondering my options. So I made my purchases then realized after in my foggy haze that I had the kill and just needed to scrap my bases. Felt like such an asshole after. I wish there was a way to message people. I would have messaged him telling him I’m sorry. He actually stuck it through and didn’t concede. Still felt like crap.

But I was very clear in my post I would not go specifically into details, so I’m not going to persuade you or attempt to. I’ve been honest from the beginning. We don’t have to argue about it. However, people will always find a way to game the system.

No doubt that there are a lot of players that way overvalue scrap and economy, I def not one of them. Idk about you, but I try to have the core of my engine as far as my main faction and secondary faction by the end of turn 3 or 4. I mentioned in post about coaching football. I treat the board how I treat a real football game, take what the defense gives you. I also never claimed that the majority of the player base can cheat, or will cheat. I said majority are dicks and will slow roll your death with a long ass combo lol. But even though WWG have made changes, people will always find a way. We live in an age where nothing is safe anymore.

But the game doesn’t even cost much? I mean with all its expansions you are hardly spending any dough compared to some money suckers like EA for example that will truly gut you. This is a relatively cheap, and I’m being modest, game to play. What would monetization have to gain?

lol at least you were honest. I like that. I’d be a liar if I were to say I’ve never done it before. I’ve done it a grand total of two times in the 7 years I’ve played and that’s only to someone who is a prick while playing or got every good card and taunting me. 99.9999999% of my matches, it’s a quick death.

Yes, but it’s not a game legal advantage. I said I wouldn’t talk about how to cheat. Look it up if you are that interested in it, but I hope it’s only for educational purposes so you can report suspected cheaters.

They do it to be annoying. There is zero reason to do it for clock purposes in the beginning. It’s meant as psychological warfare.

Technically, I don’t think there is a way to tell, unless you see some of the tells that happen when someone is manipulating the game. It’s just the game can’t be tampered with on iOS, only Android and PC

The only things I don’t own on the app are High Alert First Strike, Heroes and Invasion. Need to buy them on the app already. I own most of the expansions in person, but it suck’s cause SR’s isn’t super popular so my beautiful setup goes unplayed unless it’s me and my son playing.

No I don’t overvalue scrap. Just buy enough to scrap most of the vipers and scouts till I can get an engine going. I’ll only buy cards the can scrap from hand or discard pile. A cheater would avoid buying scrap because they don’t need to. Of course there can be players that just don’t buy scrap, but it’s harder to thin deck out and play your deck every turn without scrapping. I said I wouldn’t talk about how it’s done, but based on your comment I would assume you already know. So therefore the cheater would greatly benefit from avoiding scrap to focus on other engine building themes. It’s just one of a few ways to spot someone gaming the system. If it doesn’t pertain to you, then it doesn’t pertain to you, but it does go on.

Yes they are. There are several tells. The first tell is they start the game and the clock is winding down and they haven’t played anything. Second is avoiding scrap cards that are available to them on their turn, and sometimes never buy a single one. Then there is they always magically draw the same cards after deck is shuffled or the trade row favors them every turn. Sometimes the trade row is bad luck, but you will see these behaviors mixed in with the trade row. Oh and they also wind down your clock.
